DEACON BLOOD DRIVES HELP

The American Red Cross Save Lives

Six times a year the Deacons sponsor blood drives at our church. The drives are Wednesday afternoons and the dates are publicized on the Red Cross website and church calendar. Upcoming blood drives are scheduled for April 12 and June 7.

In 2022, we were proud to have facilitated the donation of 298 pints of blood, with each pint being able to assist multiple people. Despite blood being so vital, we often don’t think about its availability until we or a loved one needs it. We TRUST the supply will be there. The Deacons hope anyone who is able will sign up for the drives (myths about not being about to donate are on the Red Cross website) and/or volunteer to help us promote the drives in their social circles.
