Walford Davies (1869-1941) 11:00AM | John Grecia, piano Nuvole Bianche Ludovico Einaldi (b. 1955) + Call to Worship Come, let us worship our God, for there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Parent of all, who is above all and through all and in all. We come with humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in love. + Hymn 4: Holy God, We Praise Your Name

GROSSER GOT, WIR LOBEN DICH

+ Call to Confession + Prayer of Confession Righteous God, we confess that we have not lived as your obedient children. We have honored you with our words, but we have denied you with our actions. We have not pursued the mind of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. Instead, we have acted with selfish ambition. We have put our own interests before the interests of others. Forgive us our arrogance, awaken our hearts to sincere repentance and humility, and enable us to will and to work for your good pleasure, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. + Declaration of Forgiveness If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Friends, believe the Good News of the Gospel. In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.

+ Response of Praise

Dr. Samuel Rozfy, President of the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo (ETSC), will offer a Minute for Mission at both the 9:30 and 11:00AM services, followed by a Global Missions Committee Lunch and Learn at 11:15AM in the Knox Room. Founded by American Presbyterian missionaries in 1863, today, ETSC is one of the most influential Protestant seminaries in the Middle East, preparing pastors and church leaders for Egypt, the Arab world, and beyond. Wayne Presbyterian has sponsored ETSC pastoral students for the past 21 years, and several of our church members have visited the seminary since then. Come hear firsthand how that support strengthens the Church in the region where our faith was born! RSVP for the Lunch and Learn to Martin Akram at: martin.akram@gmail.com.

Help us stock local food pantries by bringing nonperishable food items and placing them in the collection bins in the Connector. Our goal? To collect more food items than the number of total yards gained by the Eagles in the previous week's game. Together, we can make a winning impact. Questions? We will also elect six members for the 2026-27 Nominating Committee who will serve a one-year term. If you have any questions about these roles, or are interested in getting involved but are uncertain about how you might contribute your talent, please reach out to any current Committee Member: Bebe Forster – Chair Larry Berglund Liz Coetzee Frone Crawford Briant Dudt Laura Evans Wendy Norman Meg Rosecky Mike Sieger

To submit your nomination, use the QR code or the card in the bulletin. Jesus taught his disciples that true leadership comes through serving others, teaching that to be a leader,

one must first become a servant.
