Shining Bright: Reflecting the Light of Christ at Montreat
From July 20-26, the Montreat Youth Conference, a transformative cornerstone of our youth ministry, ignited faith and purpose in our group of 8 high school students who attended. Themed "Light My Path" and inspired by Psalm 119:105, this gathering opened their "spiritual eyes" through its sacred setting, rich spiritual content, and dynamic large and small group interactions, creating an accepting community of unconditional love where every story mattered. Our youth returned empowered, knowing their faith matters, they are loved as they are, they belong to a vibrant community, and they can drive change in the world.
HOUR DRIVEN
The retreat offered vibrant worship, engaging keynote sessions with lively music, inspiring Scripture exploration and exciting recreation opportunities – giving our students the opportunity to embrace stepping outside of their comfort zones. Many called it the "best week of the summer," inspired by connecting with peers from across the country exploring their faith together.
