+ Call to Worship
Clap your hands, shout to the God with songs of joy. For the Lord the Almighty is awesome, know that the Lord is our God. Enter the Lord’s gates with thanksgiving and praise; give thanks to the Lord and praise his great name. The Lord is good and filled with loving-kindness; the Lord’s steadfast love endures forever.
+ Hymn 641: ENGELBERG When in Our Music God is Glorified
+ Call to Confession
+ Prayer of Confession
God of love and justice, we long for peace within and peace without. We long for harmony in our families, for serenity in the midst of struggle. We long for the day when our homes will be a dwelling place for your love. Yet we confess that we are often anxious, we do not trust each other, and we harbor violence. We are not willing to take risks and make the sacrifices that love requires. Look upon us with kindness and grace. Rule in our homes and in all the world; show us how to walk in your paths, through the mercy of our Savior. Amen.
+ Declaration of Forgiveness
To all who turn from sin in sorrow, to all who turn to God in hope, this is God’s Word of grace for us: we are accepted; we are forgiven; we are loved.
Friends, believe the Good News: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. Thanks be to God!

Time for Reflection
Affirmation of Faith | The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
