God of the future, you are coming in power to bring all nations under your rule. We confess that we have not expected your kingdom, for we live casual lives, ignoring your promised judgment. Grant us wisdom to welcome your way, and to seek things that will endure when Christ comes to judge the world. Amen.

Comfort Ye , Comfort Ye , My People
Samuel Babcock (1760-1813)
From The Middlesex Harmony, 1795
Comfort ye, comfort ye, my people, saith your God. Speak comfortably unto Jerusalem, and cry unto her , that her warfare is accomplished, her sins are pardoned. For he hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness , prepare ye the way of the Lord , Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted , and every mountain and hill made low , And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed , and all flesh shall see it together. Hallelujah, Amen.
Sermon | The Rev. Ryan Balsan | “What to Do While You Wait”
Time for Reflection
The Sacrament of Baptism | 11:00AM Service

+ Affirmation of Faith | The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
+ Baptismal Hymn 188 (v. 1): Jesus Loves Me! JESUS LOVES ME
