Prepare a Place for Love to Dwell
John Gilbert (1979)
Prepare a place for love to dwell; no need for lavish inn or hall; the rudest space, the smallest cell can cradle love so very well. Prepare a way for peace to grow beyond the limits of our fear; define a path for all to know that peace was promised long ago. Prepare a time for all to see the timeless wonder born as Truth; a time to risk , a time to be; to ponder God’s humanity.
Sermon | The Rev. Ryan Balsan | “Stay Awake! Hope is on the Way!”
Time for Reflection
+ Affirmation of Faith | Psalm 25: 1-10
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust: do not let me be put to shame; do not let my enemies exult over me. Do not let those who wait for you be put to shame; let them be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me. For you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all day long. Be mindful of your mercy, O LORD, and of your steadfast love, for they have been from of old.
Invitation to Gratitude | continued on next page
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for your goodness’ sake, O LORD! Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right; and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and decrees. Text the word GIVE (not case sensitive) to our church's Giving Number: (610)-819-4483, or scan the QR code on your phone.
Please feel free to give in-person as well.

Never Weather-Beaten Sail
Charles Wood (1866-1926)
Never weather-beaten sail more willing bent to shore , never tired pilgrim’s limbs affected slumber more; than my weary sprite now longs to fly out of my troubled breast. O come quickly, come quickly, sweetest Lord , and take my soul to rest! Ever blooming are the joys of Heaven’s high Paradise , cold age deafs not there our ears , nor vapour dims our eyes; Glory there the sun outshines; whose beams the blessed only see. O come quickly, come quickly, glorious Lord , and raise my sprite to thee! - Thomas Campion (1567-1620)
