The Women's Foundation's Nicky Goren and Latricia Allen are joined by A Wider Circle's Mark Bergel. Mark explained the impact A Wider Circle is having on poverty in the Washington region with the help of volunteers, donors and funders like The Women's Foundation.

Quality control checks ensured that families would not be receiving donated food that had already expired.

Parents who brought their children agreed that A Wider Circle was a great volunteer opportunity for kids.

Thanks to the generosity of donors from across the region, A Wider Circle’s shelves were well-stocked with children’s clothes; but the organization is always accepting donations of bedding, furniture, household goods, mattresses, etc. in addition to kids’ clothes.
