This is a complimentary luncheon with a traditional holiday meal, live band, singing Santa, photo booth, and door prizes. Transportation will be provided. Did you know? 1837 residents attended events created and designed for the enjoyment of seniors in 2017/2018. Park Place Center is continually adding new programs and events, along with bringing back favorite things to do for our Waukegan Township residents.
Getting Fit For The New Year During 2017-2018 over 14698 units of service were provided to seniors benefiting from the Fitness & Wellness programs. This also includes educational workshops on health topics and screenings with the Park Place Wellness program, held at Park Place and other locations throughout the township. If you are 55 and older, now is the perfect time to fight off cabin fever with a visit to Park Place. From pool tables to the fitness center, there is always something to do at Park Place. Plan your next workout at the Park Place Fitness Center and burn off those excess holiday calories. Equipment include: Aerobic Rider, Treadmills, Stationary Bicycles, 1 Stair Master, and Weights. The Township Board of Trustees, Senior Citizens Advisory Council and Staff wish everyone a very healthy and prosperous Holiday and New Year!

Want to save money on prescription drugs? Everyone on Medicare can review their Medicare Part D plan to make sure it provides the best coverage as well as make changes for the new year. You can do this yourself using Plan Finder on www.medicare.gov or make an appointment at Park Place to work with one of our highly trained Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) counselors. To compare 2019 Medicare Part D plans, you will need a list of your current medications from the pharmacy, or your medication bottles, and your Medicare Card.
