Allison Roberts

I have been on the Waukee Dance Team for three years, participated in show choir, studio dance, received an academic letter, and a show choir leadership award. After high school I plan to attend a University to get a bachelors of science in nursing.

Caroline Fleming I have been a part of the WDT Program for four years. While being apart of dance team I have recieved by seal of biliteracy in the spanish language, member of the nationals honors society, involved in random acts of kindness club, high school youth group, and studio dance. After my senior year I plan to continue dance and major in health sciences to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy.

Jenna Hicks

I have been on the Waukee Dance Team for three years. After high school, I will be continuing my education at the University of Iowa to major in Elementary education and minor in special education or dance.

Kayla O'Donnell

While being apart of the Waukee dance team I have also participated in girls golf for four years, cheer for three years, and studio dance. Throughout all of my activities I have recieved three varsity letters and an academic letter. I am currently committed to Grandview University for dance and I plan to major in nursing.

Drake University Dance Team Drake University Dance Team is a student-run organization at Drake University located in Des Moines, Iowa. The team is audition-based, and our number of dancers varies each year.

We currently have 18 dancers on the team ranging from firstyears to seniors. DDT excels in both Pom and Jazz. The team attends all home football, men's basketball, and women's basketball games.

Freshman: Taylor Bohannon, Taylor Bierman , Paige Anderson, Meaghan Krafton, and Lynnsey Dickson Sophomores: Maddie Kruse , Sidney Mitchell, Ashlynn Lizer , Victoria Alfano Mackenzie Brady, and Anna Wolff.

Miss Polk County Scholarship Program Josie Hove Miss Polk County

I am currently a student at Iowa State University where I am majoring in Political Science with a minor in economics, and business management. My social impact initiative is women in politics. My main goal as a title holder is to show women and young girls that a career in politics is not only possible, but that they can succeed and inspire the next generation of female voters and office-holders.

Elizabeth Maine Miss Polk County's OT

I am currently a Junior at Wapello High School. In my free time I am active in student council, studio dance, cheerleading, track, pom squad, and theater. My social impact initiative is The Key to Life: it's in your blood, where I help educate people on the importance of blood donation.

Brooklynn Nelson Miss Capital City's OT

I am currently a student at SE Polk High School. While in school I participate in dance team, track, and studio dance. My social impact initiative is "Dancing our way to health". My goal is to make all young dancers feel loved and healthy as I encourage them to be their best selves possible.
