This production will be performed with one 15-minute intermission.

Julia Badaraco (Sherrie Christian) is a recent graduate of the University of Southern Maine Musical Theatre Performance program where she most recently performed as the Stepmother in Into the Woods. Though she had a brief adventure in Orlando working for Walt Disney World prior to college, she is a Waterville native and is very excited to debut for the first time on the Waterville Opera House stage. She would like to thank her wonderful voice teachers, Mary Letellier and Ed Reichert from USM and Kathy Brown from Noteworthy Vocal Studios, for all their support and generosity through the years. Rock on!

Steven Barter (Musical Director) is excited to be working once again as the musical director alongside this great creative team. He has musically directed many shows over the last 15 years, most recently Newsies at the Waterville Opera House, and Let it Be at the Community Little Theater in Auburn. Steve also enjoys playing in the pit for other theater productions, most recently Rent, Into the Woods, and Tuck Everlasting, and playing in a wedding/event band, “Every Other Sunday.” Steve would like to thank this awesome pit, this super talented and supportive cast, and his amazing wife and two sons.

Michael Brown (Ensemble) is in his junior year at USM studying Political Science. This is Michael’s first performance at Waterville Opera House, with previous credits from USM with Into the Woods and Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, along with recognition from Lawrence High School’s Four Twisted Tales of Edgar Allen Poe, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Importance of Being Ernest. Michael is thankful to have the opportunity to be in this production with theater being a hobby he enjoys participating in. He hopes you all enjoy the show! Rock on!

Michelle Casavant (Ensemble) is thrilled to be joining the ensemble in her first production at Waterville Opera House. Though no stranger to this stage, she had her very first recital here at the age of 3. She is currently a jazz, tap, and hip hop teacher at Kennebec Dance Centre in Augusta. Michelle is a full time Realtor with Surette Real Estate and is proud to have them sponsoring Rock of Ages. She thanks her husband, family, and friends for their support and always being there to cheer her on. Enjoy the show!

Jordan Clatchey (Ensemble) is overjoyed to be returning to the Waterville Opera House Stage for the fifth time in Rock of Ages. You may have previously seen her in The Producers, Seussical, Tuck Everlasting, or The Sound of Music. Jordan lives in Winslow with her mom, their five-year-old Standard Poodle, and their one-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Jordan would like to thank her mom and her aunt and uncle for their unending support. She would also like to thank the rest of the cast and the creative team for all the hard work they have done to make this show come to life.

Samantha Delorie (Strip Club DJ/Ensemble) is excited to return to the stage after a three-year hiatus! She has had the pleasure of performing in the ensemble of previous Waterville Opera House productions, her favorites being Rocky Horror Show, Young Frankenstein, and The Producers. When Samantha is not indulging in her theatre passion, she is working as the clinical director for area public schools. But by far, her biggest passion is raising her two boys, Liam and Sullivan. Samantha wants to thank her boys and family for supporting her along this journey of reconnecting with her beloved 80s!

Desiree DuBois (Scenic Artist) is back and happier than ever to make this exciting production come to life! Most recently, she’s lent her scenic painting talents to the Waterville Opera House productions of A Flea in Her Ear, Tuck Everlasting: The Musical, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, and Clue. Desi has been a practicing artist and maker in the central Maine arts and theater community for over twenty years. You can find her Stone Spirits at Waterville’s own Old Soul Collective and all across the state in stores and galleries. Desi would like to thank her best friend, Mike, and her fantastically talented and wonderful daughter, Skyla, for their loving support of all her artistic endeavors.

Jeffrey Fairfield (Lonny Barnett) is thrilled to be making his return to the stage after a prolonged absence, in Rock of Ages! His previous productions with Waterville Opera House include The Pilot in The Little Mermaid and The Parkkeeper in Mary Poppins. Jeff broadened his rockin’ vocal chops at The University of Maine with a Vocal Music degree, and when he’s not screamin’ his throat out, he works as a special educator at Winthrop Middle School. It’s been a long time since she has played in a musical and this cast is delightful to kick the rust off with. Sarah hopes that if Kevin and Pam Rhein come to this show, they know she’s always been thankful to them. Sarah sends thanks to her mim for all the Pat Benatar sessions in the car and to Ross for still jamming to “The Final Countdown” with her after months of rehearsals.

Richard Meng (Ja’Keith Gill/Ensemble) is ready to ROCK!!! He is excited to take on the role of Ja’Keith Gill… and who wouldn’t be? Just take a look at his suit!! Growing up as one the last of Generation X, he holds nostalgia for the music and style of the time. Richard would like to thank Waterville Opera House for being a place for storytellers to tell their stories, the storytellers, and everyone who fills the seats to listen and experience the magic with us. Marissa Steiner (Ensemble) is ecstatic and humbled to be working with such an incredible cast and crew. This marks her debut on the musical theatre stage; although she was raised with a great appreciation for the arts and attended countless performances as a child, her dream was always to be on stage. Marissa would like to thank her wonderful husband, Jerry, and amazingly supportive family and friends for encouraging her to follow her dreams to audition for this show. Let’s get wild, wild, wild!

Matthew Stubenrod (Ensemble) This is Matthew’s very first show at Waterville Opera House. Matthew has done productions at Messalonskee High School as a student there over the past four years. In Matthew’s spare time, he loves music. Whenever he isn’t on the stage performing, he either has a guitar in his hands or is right next to a piano.
