Greetings: It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to the 34th Annual Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival!
The Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival has been entertaining art enthusiasts and newcomers since 1992 with unique theatre, music, and dance performances. The festival's independent theatrical performances provide an immersive cultural experience that connects and engages the community like no other. I applaud the local, national, and international artists for showcasing their talent, creativity, and artistry to our residents. I also extend my gratitude to the dedicated and committed Fringe staff and Board of Directors.
Orange County is proud to be one of the top destinations in the world for visitors. We are known for the finest hospitality, exciting theme parks, arts and cultural attractions, sports venues, and one of the largest convention centers in the nation. It is my mission to create a community culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusion. The arts foster a vibrant economy and quality of life that are the hallmarks of our community.
Once again, welcome to the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival. I wish you all the best for a successful event!
Sincerely,
Jerry Demings Mayor of Orange County
FROM ROBERT F. STUART
Welcome to the Orlando Fringe Festival!
It is my absolute pleasure to extend a warm welcome to the longest-running theatre festival in the United States! Celebrating 34 exhilarating years in our community, Fringe is one of the most unique arts and cultural extravaganzas anywhere.
As a city that embraces diversity and creativity, Orlando is the perfect home for Orlando Fringe—an inclusive cultural experience with something for everyone. Whether you're here to enjoy one-of-a-kind performances, explore the vibrant Kids Fringe Festival, or discover new talent, this fourteen-day celebration is built on the principles of accessibility and community. Best of all, 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artists, ensuring that their hard work and creativity are fully supported.
I am also glad to have the chance to thank all those who work tirelessly year-round to make sure this festival continues to make its mark in our City Beautiful. It is only because of their dedication and hard work that we all have a chance to enjoy such a wide variety of talent in such an accessible way.
Thank you for attending and ENJOY THE SHOWS!!
Warmest Regards,
Robert F. Stuart City Commissioner
FROM BUDDY DYER
On behalf of the City of Orlando, I am happy to welcome you to the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival. Our city is honored to host the longest running and one of the most impactful Fringe theatre festivals in the United States.
Since 1992, Orlando Fringe has been a platform for cutting-edge performers and innovative works, bringing nonjuried, accessible theatre, art, music, and dance to our community. The festival continues to thrive, and this year’s theme, celebrates the spirit of creativity and self-expression - so let your Fringe flag fly!
With more than 51,000 attendees, 1,445 artists from 112 producing companies, and 963 performances in 2024, Orlando Fringe has continued to grow as a dynamic showcase of talent. Just last year, the festival paid out over $430,000 directly to the participating artists, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the arts.
In Orlando, we recognize the power of the arts. I am proud that the City of Orlando remains dedicated to uplifting our creative community. That’s why we are proud to support programs like Kids Fringe through our Mayor’s Matching Grant Program, ensuring that young residents have opportunities to engage with the arts.
For over three decades, Orlando Fringe has made our city a more vibrant and inclusive place. It brings residents and visitors together to experience the arts in unique and meaningful ways, and I am thrilled that this tradition continues to flourish in our community.
Enjoy the festival!
Sincerely,
Buddy Dyer Mayor, City of Orlando
WELCOME LETTERS
FROM THE PRESIDENT
Greetings and Welcome,
I am so excited to have you join us at this year’s festival! I hope that you take the time to explore all that our staff and team have worked so hard to bring to you this year. I am sure it will be quite a memorable experience with artist connections from all over the globe here in Orlando. We are so fortunate to have artistic expression of varying levels and varieties right here in our backyard.
Every year, when the Orlando Fringe Festival encroaches, I am reminded of my many years of involvement and why I return every year. I have always seen the Orlando Fringe Festival as if it were a special two week-long adult theatre camp with its different arms of enjoyment. From stand-up comedy shows to large-cast musicals all the way to visual art gallery tours, outdoor music entertainment, and family-friendly Kid’s Fringe, this special timeframe and the smaller communities built within make the experiences that much richer. From G-rated to Special permission required, Orlando Fringe runs the gamut of providing an age-appropriate experience to its patrons and visitors and that’s one of the main reasons that I love this annual all-inclusive community experience.
I would love to share the invitation for any of our neighbors with open-minded curiosity and a respect for art to come play within our unique playground. We have fought many battles to stand here today rooted in the promise to keep art alive in the community and there’s no better way to express that freedom and support than to let your Fringe Flag Fly! Come and be a part of the movement to keep art alive at every level.
Let’s celebrate the Freedom to Fringe!
Marcus Williams, President Orlando Fringe Board of Directors
FROM THE CAFF
PRESIDENT
Welcome to the Fringe!
Fringe isn’t just a festival. It’s a movement that champions independent artists and makes artistic expression possible. It’s art for everyone, by everyone.
The Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF) powers this movement across North America. With 32 member festivals, we create unmatched opportunities for artists to take creative risks, connect with audiences, and build sustainable careers without barriers.
Fringe is where anything is possible. Fringe is where stories spark change.
And right now, we need our artists who dare to tell bold stories, push boundaries, and imagine new possibilities more than ever. And we need audiences like you who take bold risks right alongside our artists. Because in a world that feels increasingly disconnected, Fringe is the answer.
Consider this your enthusiastic invitation to see a show (or 5! Or 10!). Support an artist. Invest in the future of Fringe. Every ticket you buy, every artist you champion, and every dollar you donate keeps this movement alive for generations to come.
Fringe is about participating in something bigger. If you want to shape the future of independent artists, please: join the movement!
Happy Fringing,
Megan Dart, President Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals
FROM THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Another year has passed, and we couldn’t be more excited—it’s finally Fringe time again! There’s nothing quite like this moment, when artists, audiences, and the in-betweeners of all kinds come together to celebrate the wild, the weird, and the wonderfully unfiltered.
We also want to take a moment to say thank you. The past few years have brought their share of challenges, and through it all, this Fringe community has stood strong. To everyone who has stuck with us—supporting artists, showing up for live theatre, and believing in the power of Fringe—we see you, we appreciate you, and we wouldn’t be here without you.
That’s why this year’s theme, Let Your Fringe Flag Fly, feels more important than ever. In a world that sometimes tries to dim the spark of creativity, we’re cranking up the volume, painting outside the lines, and waving our Fringe flags higher than ever. Whether you're stepping onstage, cheering from the crowd, or stumbling upon something unexpected, Fringe is a space where you are free to express, explore, and celebrate exactly who you are.
So raise your Fringe Flag, embrace the unexpected, and dive headfirst into the magic of Fringe. Because here, the stage belongs to everyone, and the possibilities are endless.
Welcome to the festival—let’s make it unforgettable!
Tempestt Halstead, Artistic Director Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival
WHAT FRINGE IS ?
In one word, Fringe is “UNMEASURABLE.” As the longest running Fringe theatre festival in the United States, Orlando Fringe was founded on being 100% UNCENSORED, we never know what the artist will do or say. 100% UNJURIED, performers are chosen at random by lottery. 100% ACCESSIBLE, ticket prices range from FREE TO $15, which is a range that allows anyone to experience the art Fringe has to offer. We are also investing in Audio Described and ASL Interpreted performances. Fringe is for EVERYONE, that's why we are also 100% INCLUSIVE, we strive to be a safer space for all. We welcome anyone regardless of age, gender, race, religion or sexuality. Finally, 100% OF ALL TICKET SALES go back to the artist. You, as the audience member, decide how successful an artist will be by purchasing tickets.
FRINGE BASICS
WHY DO I NEED TO BUY A BUTTON?
We give 100% of ticket sales back to the artists. The one time purchase of a button, covers theatre rentals, tech equipment, supplies and more. Wear your button as a badge of honor, showing proudly you support the arts and the freedom to continue making art.
IS FRINGE JUST THEATRE?
No! We have so much more to offer. While there are over 100 different theatre shows, it doesn't end there. Both weekends of the festival there is a FREE Kids Fringe with crafts, activities and special performances. We also have the FREE Outdoor Stage with phenomenal music acts and fun activities. Still looking for more? Visual Fringe has a free art gallery to peruse and buy art, events, an art market, and crafts.
CAN I BE LATE?
Early is on time! Arrive early to ensure you find parking and your venues before your show starts. Once the doors are closed, the show has started and we will not allow admittance. We do not provide refunds for any reason, but the money you spent on the ticket still goes directly to the artist so you should feel good about that.
HOW FRINGE TO ? = YAY!

You can buy a button at the Box Offices, Information tables and the Lawn Information location. PLEASE NOTE, button purchases made online must be redeemed at the Box Office.

YOU SHOULD ALSO…

LINES ARE LOVE
The line is the vibe. It’s a pop-up party where you trade hot takes, meet fellow Fringers, and maybe get sweet-talked by a sparkly artist hustling their show. Embrace the line life.

Fringe began as an act of defiance—artists excluded from the mainstream carving out a space for those who refused to be silenced—and has since evolved into a celebration of art, community, diversity, and inclusion. While I am not an artist, Fringe gives me a way to participate in the radical spirit of this community in my own way, using my skills to organize the volunteers who make it all possible.

Hello everyone and welcome to the 34th Annual International Fringe Theatre Festival. I never thought I would be writing another welcome letter in the program but I am super excited to be back working with my amazing Fringe family on the 2nd Annual Orlando Out Fest.
Orlando Out Fest is a curated festival, celebrating exclusively LGBTQIA+ stories, artists and history. It will be a celebration of diversity, inclusion and belonging for not only queer artists but our whole community. Orlando Fringe has been a celebrated safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community for more than three decades and Orlando has talent unlike anywhere else in the world. Orlando Fringe has always been and will always be part of the queer landscape in Central Florida.
I hope that you will join us September 24-29 at The Central Florida Fairgrounds, SAVOY Orlando and The LGBT+ Center Orlando for what is sure to be an unforgettable celebration of curated queer theatre and more. We need events like the annual festival and Orlando Out Fest now more than ever.
Now sit back, relax and enjoy the shows! And unwrap that f*c%ing candy!
In Pride and solidarity, George Wallace

WHAT DOES FRINGE MEAN TO ME?
"When I found Fringe in 2012, I found my community. In the years since becoming a volunteer and then staff member, the impact of the festival - the differences that bring us all together to make 2 weeks of magic - inspired me to embrace and even celebrate my spicy little self and all the things that make me differentall the things I felt I had to hide to fit in, all the things that make me “a lot.” Now I refuse to accept anything less from my world. Take me as I am, baby, because she is extraordinary!" -Jenn Thibodeau, Box Office Manager

ARTISTS determine the length of their shows. Most Fringe shows are 60 minutes long. No show exceeds 75 minutes.
BE ON TIME
With more than 1,000 performances presented over the 14 days, the schedule is very tight, so performances WILL start on time. We recommend being PARKED at least 30 minutes before your show starts to avoid missing it. All ticket sales are final. No exchanges or refunds unless the performer cancels the show.
TIP THE FRINGE
Rounding is cool! When you purchase tickets, you can round the total up to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to the Orlando Fringe! Every penny counts, so thank you!
SHOWS May sell out, so purchase your tickets early for any performance you consider a must see. You can present the ticket on your phone or bring a printout for admission. Don’t forget your button!
PACKS
If you have a 10-pack or 25-pack, you can redeem your tickets at orlandofringe.org or any festival box office.

PATRONS PICK
The top 2 selling shows from each venue will be declared Patron’s Pick winners and receive a bonus performance on May 26th. These announcements will be posted at each box office and on our social media, at which point tickets will be available for purchase. The winners will also be celebrated at the Closing Ceremonies.
DISCOUNTS
are offered at the discretion of the performer. Orlando Fringe does not control the cost of the ticket or the discounts offered. Read the individual show description for a list of which discounts are being offered. Discounts can only be redeemed at the box offices.
ACCESSIBILITY
All Fringe managed venues and BYOVs are fully accessible; however, some site-specific venues have limited access for mobility aids. For detailed venue accessibility information, please visit orlandofringe.org/accessibility.
CHILDREN
Our festival is accessible and inclusive and we leave it all up to parents with small children to read the program and show descriptions. Except for one thing -- 18+ means 18+. We like to say that Fringe has shows from G to OMG. Orlando Fringe does not dictate or set ratings for individual shows. The ratings and warning are set by the individual performers. We do not censor or jury any of their content.
Be sure to check out Kids Fringe on Saturdays and Sundays of both festival weekends for free shows and activities geared toward the little Fringe fans.
Children 12 years old and under are not required to have a festival button but they must have a ticket. Babies in arms are permitted but we ask that you be respectful of the artist and other patrons and leave the theatre should your baby begin to cause a disturbance. We are sorry but readmission to the theatre will not be allowed once you exit and a refund cannot be made.
SHOWS are rated all ages, 7+, 13+ and 18+.
