Pumpkin carving (with Jamie) I have so much fun painting Snoopy and putting the star next to him on the pumpkin with my new friends I enjoy the time I spend because I feel more confident when I socialize with them. My friends are very nice and kind towards me. I made it in the newspaper that day because the lady came to my table and asked me for my name Socializing with Jamie’s class is so fun!

I enjoy Mystic Village because there is nothing I like more than Sticky Situation because they have the best honey and syrup in many different flavors. I’ve met the employees at Sticky Situations, Dan and Jenny. I like to say hello to them when I visit This may be a good networking opportunity for me in the future. I enjoy walking around Mystic Village and checking out the other shops.
Another social outing we do for wellness is Yoga What I like about yoga is that I get to be Genevieve's assistant and read the closing script. Both of those are my favorite places to go to whenever I'm in a good mood I get to pick what theme for yoga we should do and I might become a yoga teacher some day. I even got to lead my class in yoga while at Hayley Farm. I would like to look into this some more as a hobby or possible career

I really enjoy working at Goodwill because of the variety of tasks we do We price-tag CDs and books, and we organize books, toys, clothes, wood and wicker items, plastic, and luggage. Each day, we pull off the shelves two colors of price-tags. The people at Goodwill are kind and helpful, and I enjoy working with them I also like listening to the music they play there while I work.
Our transition program works at Mohegan Sun 4 days a week. We do 3 different jobs at Mohegan Sun. The one that I like is detailing cars. We do different things like washing the windows, vacuum the carpets, wiping the door jams, and spraying smell on carpets. All surfaces of the car I clean are the seats and door panels, dash, steering wheel, center console and screens. We also do jobs like house keeping and disinfecting the slot machines.

My interests related to artistic, social and realistic jobs. I plan to work at Mohegan, continue to work at Goodwill and build my resume

Basketball Season
During basketball season,wewash the jerseys byputting them in thewasherwith soap.We make sure to use a cold cycle so the colors don’t bleed and the jerseys don’t shrink.Afterthat,we drythem forone hour, then bring the clean uniforms to the boys’lockerroom, making sure each playergets the correct one.

Forbaseball season,we place the uniforms on the table and use a bucket ofwarm or hot soapywaterto scrub outthe stains. Thenwe putthem in thewasher, drythem foronehour, and deliverthem to the baseballlockerroom.
Aftera big event,wewash the tablecloths in thewasher, then drythem foronehour. Once they’re dry,we fold them, putthem in a bag, and return them to Mort’s closet.
I’m getting reallygood atlaundry I even do myown now, and it makes mymom happy!
