Your Wasilla Chamber is on track for a strong finish to 2023, and we have a lot of exciting updates to share as we head into the festive season!

Our highly anticipated End of Year Raffle is in full swing and tickets are almost sold out! Make sure to secure your tickets today for a chance to win fantastic rewards while supporting your Wasilla Chamber of Commerce.

In the spirit of community engagement, watch your emails later this month as Board Candidate voting goes live! We appreciate all those who took the opportunity to be actively involved and shape the Chamber's trajectory.

Your leadership is instrumental in our shared success.

We also want to express our gratitude to those who submitted proposals for our Strategic Planning process. The selection committee meets for the first time this month, and we look forward to the positive impact this strategic planning will have on our organization and community.

On a warm note, we welcomed a new member to our Chamber team in November—Rachel Wilson. Rachel brings a wealth of experience and has already made significant contributions. Please join me in extending a warm welcome to Rachel as we continue to work together towards the Chamber's success.

As we transition into December and the festive season, let's come together as a community, supporting one another and laying the foundation for a prosperous future. GWCC Membership Benefits: Member Announcements @ Luncheons One of the very visible opportunities that Greater Wasilla Chamber members have is the ability to communicate directly to businesses during our luncheon times. At each luncheon, members can sign up to highlight events, products and services they have to offer.

Many of our GWCC members use the announcement time to promote community-wide activities and even volunteer opportunities. I know that I personally have seen many a business leader offer to help when I’ve asked during these times. You will be amazed at the community support you’ll receive as a GWCC member.

Take advantage of this opportunity on a regular basis. You can sign up to share periodically or even regularly depending on your need. BUT, you can’t speak to this awesome group if you don’t attend. So please join us each month and be prepared to share the opportunities that abound with your organization! You’ll be glad you did!

Holiday Gathering December 19th

11:30AM - 1PM at Evangelo's Restaurant

Brown Bag Bottle Exchange!

Bring a bottle of something booze, balsamic, olives, olive oil etc. and dress it in a brown bag.

We will mark if they're alcoholic/non-alcoholic

Participants will draw numbers and choose from the table in numerical order.

Don't get too attached - participants have a chance to steal from you! *Bottles may be anything (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) but must be wrapped so contents cannot be seen.

Must be 21+ to participate.
