As we move into the warmth of summer, I wanted to reflect on the incredible successes we achieved together this spring.
Our Spring Economic Summit was a standout event, bringing together local business leaders, policymakers, and experts for insightful discussions and networking opportunities. The summit not only provided valuable information on economic trends and strategies but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration that will undoubtedly benefit us all in the months to come.
Another highlight was our 28th Annual Military Appreciation Lunch. This event is always a special occasion, allowing us to honor the brave men and women who serve our country. The turnout was fantastic, and the heartfelt expressions of gratitude from our community were truly inspiring. It was a privilege to show our support and appreciation for the sacrifices made by our military members and their families.
These events would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our staff, ambassadors, and the enthusiastic participation of our members. Your continued support and involvement are the cornerstones of our chamber's success.
As we look ahead, I am excited about the upcoming initiatives and events we have planned. Together, we will continue to drive economic growth and strengthen our community ties.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment to the Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce. Here's to many more successes in the future!

We are delighted to share the highlights of our 28th Annual Military Appreciation Lunch, held on May 21st, 2024. The event was a resounding success, celebrating the brave men and women who serve our nation with unwavering dedication. With the event sold out, and attendees including active-duty military personnel, veterans, their families, and community members, the atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and gratitude. Keynote presenter Dr. Sean McPeck delivered an inspiring message on the importance of community support for our servicemen and women and utilizing skills from a military career to enhance your business.
Much fun was had during the presentation of the history of the Military in Alaska, with 5 people walking away with prizes from the Alaskan Military History Quiz!
This event's success would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, ambassadors, and the Greater Wasilla community. Your contributions made this luncheon a memorable tribute to our military. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this special occasion. Together, we demonstrated our unwavering appreciation for those who serve and protect our nation.
