As we transition into September and gear up for a busy fall season, we’re excited to keep the momentum going with several key events on the horizon. First, registration is now open for the Mat-Su Fall Economic Conference, where industry leaders and experts will gather to discuss the economic landscape of our region. This is an event you won't want to miss as we navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead. Additionally, mark your calendars for our upcoming Candidates Forums. On October 2, we’ll host State House and Senate Candidates, followed by the MSB Mayoral Candidates on October 15. These forums provide an excellent opportunity to hear directly from the candidates on the issues that matter most to our community. We also want to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in the 16th Annual Last Ball of the Season Golf Tournament in August. Your support helped make the event a resounding success. Finally, we recently joined forces with the Palmer Chamber for the annual Joint Chamber Luncheon at the Alaska State Fair, further strengthening our connections and collaborations across the region.

If you’ve driven by the Depot in the past few weeks, you’ve probably noticed a flurry of activity. We're thrilled to share some exciting updates on the construction projects that are transforming our beloved area!
The new parking lot has taken shape beautifully, offering more convenient and ample parking for all our visitors. Please utilize the parking lot when visiting the Chamber. This improvement is a significant step toward enhancing accessibility and ease of access to the Depot.
Meanwhile, the ongoing construction around the historic Depot building is progressing smoothly. These efforts aim to preserve the charm and heritage of this iconic landmark while modernizing it and making it accessable for future generations to enjoy.
As the project works toward completion, we can't help but feel excited about the positive impact these developments will have on our community. We appreciate your patience and support during this transformative period and look forward to unveiling the finished results soon. Thank you to the City of Wasilla for their hard work to make the Depot area great for all to enjoy!
