The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce had a very engaging and successful year in 2022 Despite the economic downturn and record inflation, the GWCC has remained a profitable and thriving organization. While navigating through a few unpredictable and challenging years dealing with the COVID Pandemic, we have found new ways to grow and succeed in challenging times. Our CEO, staff, board members and committees have been working hard behind the scenes to implement new systems in order to keep the chamber moving forward in this ever changing world. I want to thank and congratulate our CEO, Jessica Viera, who has not only done a wonderful job of taking this organization to the next level, but also just graduated from the Institute of Organizational Management Jessica and her Administrative Assistant, Cassondra Odden, take pride in working for the GWCC and it shows in everything that we are able to accomplish each year. A huge thank you to all of our board and committee members that volunteer their time to help make the GWCC the best Chamber of Commerce in Alaska I believe the best way to get more involved in the GWCC is by volunteering on of our committees, so I invite all members to learn about which one might suit you best. I am pleased to report that the Wasilla Chamber has had another successful year in terms of financial performance As the Board Treasurer, I am proud to share that we have achieved our financial targets and have maintained a healthy balance sheet throughout FY22.
