The St. Louis Independent Comics Expo (SLICE) is St. Louis’s premier annual indie-print showcase, bringing together over 100 writers and ar tists f rom St. Louis and beyond to showcase their selfpublished books, comics, zines, prints, magazines, poetr y, and more. SLICE 2025 takes place on October 18, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., at The Sheldon Concer t Hall and Ar t Galleries. The expo is f ree to attend and open to the public . Programming will include lectures and work shops by SLICE’s special and featured guests and activities provided by local ar tists and organizations. SLICE’s 2025 special guests are award-winning author and creator of Check, Please!, Ngozi Ukazu; award-winning Vietnamese American car toonist, ar tist, and writer Trung Le Nguyen; and Rori, a St. Louis car toonist, designer, and illustrator whose work has been the focus of two major exhibits with the Missouri Histor y Museum.
