Inspiring stories of leadership and unique journeys in agriculture will be shared at the annual Telstra Women in Ag lunch at Farm World.
The line-up of guest speakers this year includes Australian television presenter Catriona Rowntree, “The Flying Vet” Ameliah Scott and Victorian Opposition leader Jess Wilson will speak about women in leadership.
To be held on Thursday, March 26, the annual event is an opportunity for women in ag to connect with like-minded women, enjoy lunch with a glass of wine, and hear from three speakers who will share their unique journeys in agriculture and beyond.
Women will be inspired, challenged, and motivated as the speakers offer real-life insights, from triumphs to trials, pushing the ausdience to think outside the box and embrace new opportunities.
The lunch is the perfect setting for networking in a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere. Gather your friends, rally your colleagues, and book tickets online.
A pre-lunch welcome to country ceremony in the Events Centre forecourt will be held at at 10.45am.
The lunch, speakers and networking will be held from noon to 2pm.
Tickets are $85 per person which includes entry to Farm World, lunch and beverage on arrival (plus booking fee.) Tickets are available via: lardnerpark.com.au

Famously known as Australia’s most travelled woman, Catriona has spent more than 27 years presenting the iconic travel series Getaway, making her one of the longest-running hosts on Australian television.
Beginning in community radio before moving to Triple J and then television, Catriona built a career sharing the world’s most inspiring destinations. Alongside Getaway, she has hosted programs including Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, the Logie awards, and Find My Country House.
She also is the author of several books including Catriona’s Australia and The Best of World Cruising.
In 2008, Catriona traded city life for the countryside when she married Victorian farmer James Pettit. Now based on their historic bluestone homestead atop a working sheep station, she fully embraces farm life - raising their two boys, participating in seasonal farm work, and championing the wool industry and regional Australia.
A passionate supporter of community and charity, Catriona uses her platform to highlight rural stories, local producers, and the importance of Australia’s farming communities.

Ameliah runs a mobile veterinary service across a 200,000 square kilometres region in far western New South Wales.
Based with her young family on her family’s station near White Cliffs, she helps run their dorper sheep, cattle, and rangeland goat operation - where her children are now the sixth generation to grow up on the land.
Growing up in such a remote environment inspired Ameliah to become “The Flying Vet”, determined to bring vital animal care to isolated properties across the region.
When she’s not travelling between stations tending to clients and their animals, Amelia is at home in the thick of station life - mustering, fencing, lamb marking, or battling the accounting software while doing the books. Like many women in agriculture, Ameliah wears many hats: mother, wife, farmer, and vet.
Opposition leader Jess Wilson will focus on women in leadership during her presentation at the lunch. Elected as the Member for Kew in 2022, Jess is leader of the Liberal Party and shadow treasurer.
Jess is an experienced public policy professional, having advised Australia’s largest employers and worked at the highest levels of government. She began her professional career at global professional services firm KPMG and later served as a ministerial adviser to a federal cabinet minister.
Jess has spent most of her professional career in the private sector, most recently at the Business Council of Australia as executive director of policy and company secretary.
In addition to leading policy development in the energy and climate change space, she led a team of policy experts across tax, regulatory reform, infrastructure, skills and education, digital and cyber security.

PROMOTING farm safety, animal welfare and biosecurity across Victoria is the aim of two Victorian Farmers Federation projects.
The Making Our Farms Safer (MOFS) and Stock Sense project teams are set to be at Farm World this March, on-hand to answer all your farm safety and livestock questions.
Stock Sense, which is funded by the Cattle and Sheep and Goats Compensation Funds, helps Victorian livestock producers and hobby farmers maintain and improve their animal health and welfare and farm biosecurity.
They do this through free online resources like webinars, factsheets and a monthly newsletter, as well as facilitating educational workshops across the state.

The Stock Sense team is excited to be visiting Farm World this year.
Similarly, the MOFS team regularly hit the road, travelling across the state to conduct free farm safety visits and community meetings, while also putting out a monthly newsletter and a toolkit of handbooks and resources to assist and educate farmers on implementing and maintaining safety.
VFF president Brett Hosking spoke highly of the two projects and the benefits they provide for Victorian farmers of all types.
“Both the Making Our Farms Safer and Stock Sense projects are great ways of engaging everyday farmers with information

and facts that will actually help them in their businesses, their families and their communities to work towards better farming outcomes,” Mr Hosking said. “We’re looking forward to both programs continuing to engage and support our farmers in real and practical ways.”
If you are interested in learning more about the VFF projects, visit the VFF Making Our Farms Safer Facebook page or website at makingourfarmssafer.org.au, or the Stock Sense Facebook page or website at vff.org.au/ stocksense.

With varying soil types and terrain across Victoria, selecting the right machinery tyre is critical.
Alliance tyres are engineered to support Australian farmers through every stage of the agricultural cycle. Delivering durability, reliability and performance across diverse and demanding conditions.
Alliance simplifies this with its “one range, every stage” promise, offering tyres designed to perform consistently under local environments.
A standout in the range is the Agristar II, available in more than 80 sizes and with over one million units sold globally in five years. It has earned a strong reputation for traction, durability and performance in tough harvest conditions.
Designed for high-horsepower tractors and harvesters, the Agristar II features Stratified Layer Technology.
A dual-layer lug design with multi-angle and single-angle profiles.
This enhances grip, prolongs traction life and improves roadability. A polyester casing provides dimensional stability and heat resistance.
Alliance tyres are built for harsh farming environments, particularly during peak seeding periods.
Advanced tread patterns deliver strong grip, flotation and fuel efficiency, while selfcleaning designs help maintain traction in sticky or uneven terrain.
Reinforced sidewalls and stubble-resistant compounds extend tyre life in demanding conditions.
Beyond agricultural tyres, Alliance also offers flotation and very high flexion options to suit a wide range of farming equipment.

Teeter have combined technical innovation with precision engineering to provide a safe, simple and comfortable experience that’s enjoyed by professional athletes through to retirees, come and see us at Farmworld 2026 in the Country Living Hub.
Teeter inversion tables have helped more than 4 million people around the world MOVE better, FEEL better and LIVE better since 1981.
Inversion therapy dates back to 400 B.C. with the “Father of Medicine”, Hippocrates, using ropes and ladders for traction, while yoga has long practiced inverted poses for circulation and overall health.
Teeter inversion tables use gravity in reverse by taking the pressure off the spine and other joints. The discs between each vertebrae are like sponges, and as we age, those discs lose moisture and compress – running, sitting, bending, walking, lifting all make our discs thinner, stiffer and less flexible.
By hanging at an inverted angle of as little as
20 degrees, your body weight creates a gentle pull, opening the space between vertebrae, and allowing spinal discs to rehydrate.
Benefits
Pain Relief – reducing nerve pressure and pain caused by degenerative discs, sciatica and muscle spasms
Improved Joint Health & Flexibility – the gentle, passive stretching increase flexibility and joint mobility; each joint is decompressed by the exact weight that it carries!
Muscle Tension Relief – studies have shown a potential 35% reduction in muscle tension within 10 seconds of inverting
Improved circulation – increase bloody flow, and flush the lymph system
Better Posture – helps realign the spine and hips.

Our state-of-the-art boarding facility provides a safe, supportive and enriching home away from home for boarders in Years 7 to 12.
As one of Australia’s leading IB and VCE schools, Wesley College is renowned for its strong academic excellence and exceptional learning experiences.

Across Australia, growers are facing challenging conditions.
In the south and west, prolonged dry weather is forcing many farmers to rein in fertiliser spending.
In the north and central regions, flooding has created a different set of pressures — nutrient loss, soil structure damage, and recovery costs.
In seasons like these, autumn fertilising needs a smarter focus.
Rather than pushing top growth, autumn is the time to rebuild soil health and improve fertiliser efficiency.
“Growers don’t want to spend more than they have to,” says Kevin Beecroft, co-owner of Biolink 4 Plants & Animals.

“What we’re focused on is helping farmers get more out of the fertiliser they’re already using by improving soil biology.”
Even in dry conditions, supporting soil microbes helps improve nutrient retention and root resilience.
When moisture arrives, biologically active soils respond faster. In flood-affected areas, restoring microbial balance can help reestablish nutrient cycling and repair soil structure.
Biolink recommends integrating biological inputs with existing fertiliser programs to maximise return on investment.
Biolink™ Bio-Hum stimulates beneficial microbial activity, improving micronutrient uptake and helping reduce fertiliser losses.
For crop residues and organic waste, Biolink™ Ignition Organic Compost Starter accelerates breakdown, converting waste into nutrient-rich compost that builds soil carbon and long-term fertility.
For autumn establishment, Biolink™ Launch provides an easy, soluble microbial and energy source for improved pasture and crop establishment. It can be included in spray applications, allowing a convenient single-pass paddock application.
“As input costs rise and seasons become more extreme, building soil resilience is one of the smartest long-term decisions growers can make,” Kevin says. “What you do in autumn sets up your whole growing year.”

Farm World is Australia’s best agricultural field days event, and its home is in Monash.
As a former farmhand who went on to complete my studies in agribusiness, my passion for agriculture is lifelong.
With a couple of exceptions, I’ve attended nearly every Farm World over 20 years.
Farm World celebrates our region, our produce and our people.
It starts conversations about new technology, global trends and peer-to-peer support right here in our own community.
Farm World not only brings Gippslanders together, it invites people from the city to understand and respect the regions they rely on.
I’m a big supporter of our very own field days, that’s why I’m backing calls from the Association of Agricultural Field Days
for the Federal Government to recognise events like Farm World as essential regional infrastructure.
We know these events are key to Australia remaining a world-class producer of food and fibre, and we want that to be recognised at a government level as well.
As this year’s Farm World arrives, farmers across Monash are doing it incredibly tough. Unable to source feed and with rising costs, many drought-stricken farmers have been forced to sell off stock ahead of schedule to get urgently needed cash flow.
That’s why I’ve continued to call for a fairer, better go for farmers by this Government at every chance I get.
I’ll be at Farm World for the duration of the event. I’d love to hear what’s important to you and how I can help, so come and say hello.

We’re pumped to be back at Farm World 2026 — our fifth year — and it honestly feels like catching up with mates each time.
One of the best parts is hearing your stories: how the driveway you planted a few years ago is now meeting overhead, how the laneway trees are doing their job, or how the shade trees have improved a paddock.
Urban Tree Growers is our small family nursery based in Ripplebrook. We’ve been growing advanced deciduous trees for over 20 years, working on the land and growing a business we’re proud of.

The owners of Urban Tree Growers Chris and Beth are committed to cultivating healthy trees that make a meaningful impact on our community.
We produce trees that suit our environment — giving valuable shade in summer, then dropping their leaves to let the winter warmth back in.
Our range includes Maples, Oaks, Ornamental Pears and Ash plus more.
The trees we grow are strong, wellstructured and already established at over two metres tall.
Each one has been carefully formatively pruned to create a solid framework and good shape from day one.
As farmers ourselves, we understand the difference trees make.
We’ve seen cattle line up for shade on hot days. Trees add value to a property, support biodiversity and create protection that lasts for generations.
Good trees are a long-term investment in your land.
If you’re heading to Farm World, come and see us — we’d love to chat about what trees could work on your farm.

If a kitchen upgrade is on the cards, the annual String & Salt Home Expo at Farm World 2026 is definitely worth a visit. Featuring this year, will be Bertazzoni’s Heritage Series freestanding cookers… the kind of appliances that are worth seeing in person.
Bertazzoni is an Italian family-owned company that has been building cooking appliances since the early 1900s, when founder Napoleone Bertazzoni was producing wood-burning stoves in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy.
The Heritage Series is a direct nod to that history - the design draws on those original stoves, with rounded chrome knobs, polished metal handles, and classic lines that look at home in a traditional kitchen without feeling out of place in a modern one.
The cookers are available in stainless steel, matt black, and an ivory enamel
finish, with optional decorative metal trim sets in gold, copper, and nickel for those who want to personalise the look further.
The construction is solid with cast iron trivets, triple-glazed oven doors with soft-close hinges, and highperformance brass gas burners capable of everything from a delicate simmer to full heat or quality induction cooktop options.
Oven configurations include up to nine cooking functions across convection, baking, grilling, and pizza modes. These are serious cookers that will look the part in a country or heritage style home.
The String & Salt Home Expo in the Lardner Park Event Centre at Farm World 2026 is the right setting for them. Come and have a look, ask questions, and see the range up close before you decide.

Latrobe Health Services is bringing free Shane Warne Legacy Health Checks to Farm World again this year, giving attendees an opportunity to check in on their cardiometabolic health.
As a Gippsland based, not-for-profit health insurer, Latrobe Health Services is committed to improving health outcomes across regional and rural communities.
Latrobe Health Services CEO Ian Whitehead is encouraging anyone aged 18 and over to take part in the quick, noninvasive screening available at their stand in the Country Living Hub.
“As a member-owned fund, we’re focused on making healthcare more accessible and inclusive,” Mr Whitehead said.
“Take five minutes for you with a free, noninvasive Shane Warne Legacy Health Check.”
The free health checks assess key indicators including blood pressure, body composition, heart rate and diabetes risk using the
AUSDRISK tool.
Alongside the self-serve SiSU Health stations, eligible participants can access clinician-led finger prick blood tests for cholesterol and blood glucose levels.
“Results are provided on the spot,” Mr Whitehead added. “If elevated risks are identified, users are encouraged to follow up with a healthcare professional.”
Latrobe Health has been involved in testing more than 400,000 participants, from the early beginnings of the Gippsland Healthy Hearts study, to an ongoing community outreach program and, since 2023, as the Founding Partner of the Shane Warne Legacy.
For more information about free health checks visit www.latrobehealth.com.au/ shane-warne-legacy.

“Our customers are the reason we innovate. The work you do inspires us to push irrigation technology further—making it stronger, smarter, and better
for every season.”
With more than 40 years of experience in agriculture and agricultural irrigation, our business has built a reputation for reliability, innovation and genuine customer care.
Over four decades, we have witnessed significant changes in farming practices, water management technologies and environmental challenges.
Throughout this time, one principle has remained constant: every farm is unique, and every irrigation system should be too.
Our approach begins with listening.
We take the time to understand each customer’s objectives, whether that is increasing crops yield’s, improving water efficiency, reducing labour demands or preparing for future expansion.
At the same time, we carefully assess onfarm constraints such as soil type, water availability, power supply, budget and environmental considerations.
By combining practical experience with modern irrigation technology, we design and deliver tailored systems that align

with both operational goals and long-term sustainability.
From small family-run properties to largescale commercial enterprises, we pride ourselves on providing solutions that are efficient, durable and cost-effective.
However, installation is only part of the story. We firmly believe that true service begins after the system is in the ground. Our commitment to after-sales customer service ensures that clients receive ongoing support, maintenance advice and prompt assistance whenever needed.
Agriculture does not stop, and neither do we.
By standing behind our work and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our customers, we continue to support farming communities and help them thrive for generations to come.
Come and see us at site 803 or visit www. irrigationvictoria.com.au for more details and contact information if unable to attend the Farm World field days.

The new CLAAS ARION 600C EVO Facelift series has arrived at CLAAS Harvest Centre. CLAAS has channelled everything they’ve learnt about harvest machinery—the innovation, the engineering excellence, the deep understanding of how our customers work—into a range of tractors built not just for today’s jobs but also for tomorrow’s challenges.
This year at Farm World 2026, we’ll showcase the CLAAS ARION 620C EVOLUTION tractor.
The new CLAAS EVO is designed to work smarter and represents the next generation in mid-range performance.
Redesigned for greater versatility and ease of use, it’s packed with operator-first upgrades — including a refined transmission, ergonomic controls, advanced fuel-saving technologies and CLAAS smart farming integrations.
This stylish model has been refreshed with new features to deliver the next-level experience in productivity and comfort.
“Tractor operators will want to familiarise themselves with the most comfortable cabs
on the market”, says Kevin Walker - Product Business Manager, Tractors ANZ.
This stylish model has been refreshed with a range of new features to deliver the next-level experience in productivity and comfort. Introducing hydraulic system upgrades with load sensing circuits (110 l/min or 150 l/min options) for better efficiency and fuel savings, reduced RPM for similar oil flow and noise reduction, and CEMIS 1200 digital guidance system and machine connect capability can now be added as a factory fit option.
The in-cab experience has been amplified with a new ergonomic steering wheel, both driver and passenger seating upgrades offering premium comfort, and new air outlets to increase ventilation.
“The new 3D Front grille, on a modern bonnet design with new CLAAS branding, is sure to draw attention to our stand”, he says.
For further information see the Claas Harvest Centre team at site A25-28 and B1-4 at Farm World or call Claas Harvest Centre Gippsland on 5622 4400 or Claas Harvest Centre South Gippsland on 5662 2299.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone down at Farm World. It’s always a good opportunity to catch up with customers, meet new people and get the next generation excited about farming and farm machinery.
The New Fendt 600 tractor has arrived down at the shop, if doesn’t sell we will bring it down for the day.
A great opportunity to see the machine up close.
We will also be showing off the new Massey Ferguson 9S (285-425 HP). An absolute beast with its Dyna-VT transmission and highlighting its unique cab design, for extra comfort, visibility, Isolation and space.
With an AGCO Power engine, the same engine shared with the latest Fendt models in that range.
The new Massey Ferguson 5M (95-145hp) will be on display.
A value for money all-rounder tractor with great features like brake to clutch, joining hydraulic pumps for more flow, we don’t see these features on many other tractor brands
Skip the traffic queues and parking with a new shuttle bus service to Farm World from Warragul.
Promoting the new initiative, Federal Member for Monash Mary Aldred said the shuttle bus would provide visitors with a hassle-free journey to Lardner Park.
“As the premier agricultural event, Farm World typically attracts about 40,000 visitors,” Ms Aldred said. “This shuttle service will make it easier to access the site, ease traffic congestion and ensure a great
start and end to your day at Farm World.” Buses will depart Warragul Railway Station near the Goods Shed at 9am on Thursday and Friday, and 8.45am on Saturday. For the return journey, buses will depart Farm World at 3pm on Thursday and Friday, and 3.15pm on Saturday.

Across the Port Phillip and Western Port region, farmers are taking practical action to build more resilient and productive farms.
Through Melbourne Water’s ClimateSmart Agriculture project, they are trialling and adopting practices that boost farm productivity while protecting soils, improving biodiversity and supporting overall landscape health.
The program is working with more than 500 farmers to test a wide range of onground approaches that deliver real benefits on paddocks and across the catchment.
On-farm trials include biological fertilisers, multi-species cover crops, Natural Sequence Farming, enhancing farm dams and wetlands and EcoVineyard approaches as well as protecting important endangered species such as Strzelecki Gum.

Each demonstration farm is supported with monitoring so landholders can see the real-world benefits of regenerative practices—whether it’s improved pasture productivity, better soil structure, reducing
emissions as well as less reliance on chemical interventions.
A key strength of the project is its collaborative approach. Farmers, Landcare groups, researchers, and councils are working side-by-side to share knowledge, co-design trials and build local capacity.
Field days, workshops and peer-to-peer learning networks are giving farmers the tools and confidence to adapt to a changing climate while strengthening the region’s food production systems.
This project is a celebration of collaboration across agriculture, Landcare, local government, and community.
At its heart is a simple message: healthy farms mean healthy catchments, resilient communities, and a stronger food bowl for Victoria.
If you would like to learn more, see us at Farm World (Site 238). Melbourne Water will be there to chat with locals, share insights from the project, and hear what matters most to our farming communities.

Commander Ag has recently completed another cattle yard system for a valued returning client, the third yard system they have purchased from the company.
Designed to handle 100-head mobs, the layout follows the practical and widely regarded Weenan design.
Known for its simplicity and functionality, it provides excellent drafting options directly out of the central pound, making it ideal for weaning and general cattle management.
The system offers a highly cost-effective solution, removing the need for curved force tubs and large drafting setups at the front of the crush while still maintaining smooth cattle flow and safe stock handling.
The yards feature entry off the existing laneway, a central drafting pound with a six-
way draft, and a cattle force pen leading into a 90-degree curved, non-sheeted race.
A 4.8-metre adjustable loading ramp ensures efficient truck access, while permanent flagstyle panels and gates with overhead bracing provide strength and durability.
Concrete throughout the entire yard system enhances safety, longevity and ease of maintenance. The system is fitted with a Commander Ag CC750 Crush.
The client installed all three yard systems independently, highlighting the straightforward, farmer-friendly design Commander Ag is known for. With more than 30 years of experience, Commander Ag continues to deliver practical, durable cattle yard solutions tailored to individual farming operations.

Clean raking action at high speed
One disease outbreak. One failed audit. One preventable breakdown at peak season.
That’s all it takes to cost your farm thousands. In 2026, hygiene is more than a choice, it is your operational insurance.
If your cleaning equipment isn’t keeping up, we can help you reduce your labour costs, fuel spend, and biosecurity risk every single day.
Clean Faster. Save More.
Cold water shifts dirt. Hot water removes risk.
We built the Kärcher Professional HDS hot water pressure cleaners for farms that can’t afford downtime.
Heavy mud, grease, and bacteria are removed faster, reducing your labour hours and speeding up shed turnaround.
With our eco!efficiency mode, the HDS automatically operates at the optimal 60°C. This cuts your fuel use and CO2 emissions by up to 20% while maintaining top performance.
You get lower operating costs without sacrificing results.
When hygiene matters most, temperature matters.
The HDS steam stage reaches 155°C, helping you mitigate disease risk and break down stubborn organic deposits.
Our patented heater coil technology reduces corrosion, protecting your investment season after season.
To make your work even easier, the EASY! Force trigger gun uses the recoil of the jet to eliminate holding force, reducing fatigue and improving productivity for your team.
Protect Your Bottom Line
Every inefficient clean increases contamination risk and operating costs.
The right equipment doesn’t just clean, it helps you maintain the value of your livestock, infrastructure, and profit.
If your current machine is slow or costly to run, we are here to help you make a difference.

In Australian agriculture, equipment is expected to perform in demanding conditions and continue performing for years to come.
Redback Agri Australia has built its reputation on meeting that expectation, designing and manufacturing agricultural and equine machinery engineered for strength, durability and long term reliability.
The company’s focus has never been short term cost reduction. Instead, Redback Agri invests in robust construction, quality materials and practical engineering that deliver consistent performance in the paddock. That commitment is reflected across farms nationwide.

Many farmers still use Redback harrows purchased decades ago, with the company supplying ongoing parts and support for over 30 years.
while minimising impact on surrounding pasture.
Many producers continue to operate Redback harrows purchased decades ago, with the company maintaining parts availability and support more than 30 years on. Longevity and ongoing backup remain central to the brand.
From its Melbourne warehouse, Redback equipment is distributed across Australia each year, ensuring efficient supply to rural communities in every state.
Pasture productivity remains a priority for Australian producers seeking to maximise grass growth, improve soil condition and protect long term output.
Effective weed management is a critical component of that objective.
The Redback Weedwiper provides a precise solution for targeted weed control, applying herbicide directly to taller weeds
Designed for Australian conditions, it offers a controlled and responsible approach to weed management.
At Farmworld, Redback Agri will present its premium product range, including Redback Weedwipers, Walco spreaders and heavy duty harrows built for sustained performance.
The team will also be available to discuss the Premium Arena Groomer range and its role in maintaining consistent, high quality equestrian surfaces.
With a reputation established over decades, Redback Agri Australia continues to stand behind its equipment, delivering machinery engineered to perform and supported for the long term.
For agricultural and equine equipment built with durability and performance at its core, Redback Agri Australia remains a trusted name.

The McIntosh Titan Max series of silage wagons are built for the serious farmer, and for high use applications.
After listening to customer’s needs, the new Titan Max series of silage wagons was designed and built for the serious farmer last year.
The new heavy duty 16mm high tensile floor and elevator chains make the wagons even stronger than the renowned Titan Series of silage wagons that many Gippsland farmers know and trust.
They have increased the strength of the bin by using 5mm Bisoly high wearing steel for both the floor and side wear plates.
Other new features include new style tapered mud guards, remote grease lines for easier access to main grease points, an even heavier duty floor drive system and a galvanised cross conveyer frame.
This makes the new Titan Max series of silage wagons offer even greater strength, performance and durability for years to come.
Another great new feature of the Titan Max wagons is the new automatic floor chain adjustment system.
Like with all wagons, the floor chains will stretch over time, but with the new Titan Max series, they are fitted with a unique grease pump system that maintains the constant pressure on the floor chains to keep them at the correct tension.
This automatically maintains the proper floor chain tension and will save a lot of maintenance time and potential breakdowns from wrongly adjusted floor chains.
Allan Slater from TracMac Farm Equipment said, “the new Titan Max series of silage wagons offer significant strength and features over and above all other wagons on the market and are well suited to the needs of many farmers across Australia.
McIntosh also offers a range of Beater style silage wagons.
These wagons are specially designed to help integrate different product together and feed them out in a consistent and even manner. Ideally for use in feed pad operations, they offer a lot of versatility, ease of operation and much lower operating cost then the alternative TMR system,” said Allan. McIntosh Farm Machinery has been building quality products and farm machinery for over 70 years.
Their range of silage wagons, bale feeders, tipping trailers and manure spreaders are built with strength, ease of operation and provide years of service life to many farmers.
To find out more information please call in and see the range at TracMac Farm Machinery – site A30 at Farm World.

With over 70 years of Farm machinery experience behind every machine that carries their name, many Farmers trust the Strength, Performance and Reliability of owning a McIntosh machine.

On 23 February 2026, AGCO Power’s CORE80 engine from the Fendt 800 Vario series received the “Diesel of the Year 2026 Award”.
Fendt unveiled the completely redesigned Fendt 800 Vario series in the summer of 2025. The tractor series has also already won two Farm Machine 2026 Awards and a US AE50 Award.
‘The CORE80 engine is the most powerful of the CORE engines produced at AGCO’s engine plant in Linnavuori, Finland,’ says Dr Josef Mayer, Vice President and Managing Director of Research and Development Fendt. ‘In recent years, the results of the independent DLG PowerMix test have demonstrated the impressive efficiency of the Fendt VarioDrive powertrain in our tractors.
This consists of CORE engines and our Fendt Vario transmission 2.0.
The latest results for the Fendt 728 Vario and Fendt 620 Vario show that they combine power with extremely economical fuel consumption.
The Fendt 800 Vario with a CORE80 engine operates smoothly within its main working range of 1,100 to 1,400 rpm.
It reaches its top speed of 60 km/h at only 1,450 rpm.
The top of-the-range Fendt 832 Vario offers maximum torque of 1,680 Nm from as low as 1,200 rpm, ensuring high traction and acceleration with minimal fuel consumption.
In addition, exhaust gas after treatment is carried out via a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), but not exhaust gas recirculation.
This also makes maintenance easier.
The tractor complies with all globally required emission standards.
In the EU, this is the Stage V (Tier 5 Final) emission standard.
Engines from the CORE family are also installed in the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7.1, Fendt 600 and Fendt 500 Vario series.
Fabio Butturi, editor-in-chief of Powertrain International magazine: “AGCO Power’s CORE80 highlights AGCO Corporation’s transition toward propulsion systems that balance power delivery tailored to off-road work cycles with low fuel consumption and best-inclass maximum torque.
The CORE80 is the natural leader of a platform designed for further decarbonization, such as hydrogen ICE and hybridization.
The fifth generation of the Fendt 800 Vario has undergone a complete redesign.
With its 6-cylinder AGCO Power CORE80 engine with an 8-litre displacement, the tractor delivers up to 343 hp while saving fuel.
The combination of the CORE80 engine, Fendt VarioDrive drivetrain and Fendt iD lowspeed concept ensures exceptional efficiency.
The engine is also approved for use with HVO100, making the tractor more sustainable.
Other technologies offered by the series include VarioDrive; the fully integrated VarioGrip tyre pressure control system; an optional double pump system for high hydraulic power; a selfcleaning engine air filter; a new cab with FendtONE; and a newly developed, innovative UltraVision lighting concept.
The ‘Diesel of the Year’ award has been presented annually since 2006 to recognise the most innovative diesel engine for industrial and non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) applications.
Sponsored by Powertrain International magazine, the award recognises engines that demonstrate technological innovation, efficiency, performance, and compliance with emissions regulations.
It also showcases solutions that significantly impact the global off-highway powertrain market.

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your backyard cooking setup, Farm World is the place to do it this year.
The String & Salt Home Expo will be showcasing two of the world’s most respected outdoor cooking brands, Kamado Joe and Masterbuilt, across all three days of Farm World this year. Both brands will be on display and, more importantly, in action.
There will be live cooking demonstrations running throughout each day, so you can see exactly what these products can do before you make a decision.
Kamado Joe has built a strong global following for its ceramic kamado grills, which are capable of grilling, smoking, roasting, and baking… all in one unit.

The thick ceramic construction holds heat and moisture exceptionally well, making it as practical for a slow Sunday roast as it is for a quick weeknight cook.
Masterbuilt is best known for its electric and propane smokers, which have brought low-and-slow BBQ within reach of anyone who wants to try it. Simple to use and consistent in performance, Masterbuilt smokers have introduced a lot of Australians to proper smoked meat without the steep learning curve of traditional pit smoking.
Special guest on Saturday: Local chef and Hogget Kitchen owner Trevor Perkins
will be joining the team for a live cooking demonstration.
Trev is one of Gippsland’s most respected chefs, known for his nose-to-tail approach, his passion for local produce, and his expertise in smoking and charcuterie. Watching him work over a live fire is not something you want to miss.
Demonstrations and samples run across Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So come hungry and follow your nose to the String & Salt Home Expo in the Lardner Park Event Centre.

Did you know that CLEAVER Salumi Cabinets was born right here in Gippsland?
Launched in 2016 by founder and owner, Dave Cann, CLEAVER had a straightforward goal: build a meat cabinet to allow Australians to make their own cured meats at home, any time of year.
How the Cabinets Work
Traditional salumi – the Italian term for salted, dried meats like salami, prosciutto, coppa – can be tricky when you need to rely on the climate for the drying. At best, it’s a once a year (winter) activity. At worst, it can end in disaster. CLEAVER solved that problem.

CLEAVER Salumi Cabinets give you the ability to dry age your own meat and make your own salami all year round.
A CLEAVER Salumi Cabinet controls the three things that matter in curing: temperature, humidity, and airflow. With settings between 0°C and 25°C and humidity adjustable from 60% to 90%, CLEAVER owners can set the conditions they need to safely cure meat all year round.
The range runs from The Piglet - an underbench model handling up to 8kg, good for someone having a first crack at salami - up to The Hog, which holds over 70kg and can run eight prosciutto at once. In 2022, CLEAVER released the PLUS collection, the world’s first truly hybrid cabinet capable of dry-ageing meat AND salumi curing in the same unit.
“Possibly the best company I have ever dealt with”
CLEAVER founder Dave Cann is handson in a way that’s become part of the brand’s reputation. He takes customer calls, services cabinets in the field, and backs up the national network of agents himself. That reputation has been earned over nearly a decade. “Once a CLEAVER customer, always a CLEAVER customer,” says owner Dave, “and we are proud of the feedback we get from our customers consistently.”
Come and See Them at Farm World
If you’ve thought about making your own salami or want to see how these cabinets work.
The range will be on display at the String & Salt Home Expo in the Lardner Park Event Centre, Dave will be running demonstrations on site each day.

Everyone loves the look of a freshly painted weatherboard home. Whether your style leans traditional or modern, you can now achieve that timeless finish with Formplex weatherboards.
Since 1981, Formplex has been providing Australian homes with maintenance free uPVC weatherboards designed to deliver the classic timber look without the ongoing upkeep.
As the demand for weatherboard facades has grown, so too has the frustration with constant sanding, painting and repairs.
Maintaining a timber exterior can be expensive and time consuming, making it a less appealing option for today’s homeowners.
Formplex uPVC weatherboard cladding offers an easy, economical and efficient facelift for timber or fibro homes.
The system features simple interlocking panels that can be installed directly over an existing facade or fixed straight to frame over ply.

The result is a long lasting, well insulated exterior that looks like freshly painted timber year after year.
Boards can be installed horizontally or vertically, providing flexibility for a wide range of architectural styles.
Colour choice also plays an important role, as lighter or reflective finishes can help reduce heat absorption in many Australian climates.
Cladding serves several essential functions. It protects against weather penetration, manages moisture and vapour movement, and delivers a durable, attractive finish. It can also contribute to sound reduction, thermal performance and easier cleaning in dusty or polluted environments.
Lightweight and practical, Formplex boards are ideal for upper storey construction and renovation projects.
They provide a cost effective, maintenance free solution with no ongoing painting or scaffold hire required, making them perfect for refurbishing non brick homes that need a fresh new look.
