Graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles during the height of the 2008 recession left Jacques Lesec at a crossroads. After realizing the field of architecture paired perfectly with his natural curiosities, he opted to return to school and pursue a Master’s degree at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. In 2016, he relocated to Napa and shortly thereafter created Jacques Lesec Architecture and Studio Lesec, where art influences architecture and vice versa. At Studio Lesec, the artist
