Women Against Mental Health Abuse was founded in October of 2023. And made official November 13th, 2023. headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. the everyday women and celebrity alike. Transform & Restore Women’s Lives.
As a Women’s Advocate I noticed there was nothing set aside to specifically address abuse by the the Mental healthcare system. Abuse done by a family members, a spouse, or doctors themselves had no repercussions from the industry. And once diagnosed, everything is the fault of your own no matter where the abuse comes from. And a woman is now a medical slave and subject to unscrupulous abuse.
There have even been movies made about this very issue. Films like the 1944 classic Gaslight to Gothika with Oscar Award winning actress, Halle Berry. Yet, the question still remained where is the help? Now, due to Covid and a mental health crisis who is going to cover the major crakes in the Mental healthcare system? And before you there is government help it must start locally. And this is where Women Against Mental Health Abuse began.
Women Against Mental health abuse will not only launch an App to assist locally we will take this issue to our Nation’s Capitol.
Important questions to ask:
Are diagnosis given to women scientific?
What are some things a woman should do before taking psychotropic drugs?
Should pre or post pregnancy be considered a mental illness?
Are women, women of color, and especially black women more susceptible to electric shock?
Is there a chemical imbalance in women that leads them to being electric shocked?
Why are no separate, mandated legal counsel set aside for women given a mental health diagnosis to detour abuse?
If abuse is discovered and a misdiagnosis why are there no medical advocates immediately available to change medical records and correct medical diagnosis?
We not only knew it would take an act of God it would take an Act of Congress. So,Women Against Mental Health Abuse got to work.
The WAMHA ACT which stands for the Women Against Mental Abuse Act has been created to address this very issue.
WAMHA sought the best scholars, lawyers, and medical team to craft a bill to not only fill in the gaps but help put an end to all forms of women’s mental health abuse. And you can be apart of it too. Join us as we charter a bus to Congress. Or you can donate on our website and or sign our petition on Change.org

Mental Health Awareness Month serves as a crucial time dedicated to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health issues, promoting open conversations, and encouraging individuals to seek support and care for their mental well-being Recognized annually in May, it aims to shed light on the importance of mental health and to remind us that taking care of our mental state is just as important as taking care of our physical health. This month-long observance is an opportune moment for communities, organizations, and individuals to engage in activities that promote understanding, compassion, and education about mental health challenges. It's a time to share personal stories, connect with others facing similar struggles, and push for improvements in mental health services and support systems By fostering a more supportive and informed society, Mental Health Awareness Month plays a vital role in helping individuals feel less isolated and more empowered to seek help and prioritize their mental health.
