Wallace Design Collective was asked to investigate deteriorating concrete floors at more than 1,700 service centers located across the United States. Deterioration was caused by a number of factors including repeated exposure to salts, daily washing of the structure, age of the structure, and construction deviations. Repairs were prioritized based on a rating system developed to proactively address severe situations before injuries occurred. Many of the repairs were completed with minimal disruption to the operation of the service center.
