The right move I’ve never met anyone that has said to me “I love moving!” but I’ve heard many, many people say “I’m so glad I moved, it’s made a huge difference to my life.” When you need to move, it’s best just to do it, do it right, and start enjoying the rewards that your new home brings to your life.

Living in the wrong space is a huge hamper on your lifestyle. Sometimes it’s hard to recognize. Sometimes it’s hard to accept. There may be things that you love about your current space, but ultimately, when you realize that your current space no longer accommodates your needs, it’s time to move.

Most people settle into an apartment and try to make it work, even after it becomes clear that it’s no longer an ideal arrangement. Our research shows that a lot of people move due to a significant life event: Leaving home to go to school; getting married; having children; getting divorced; watching your children move out. BEAUTIFULLY COSY AND HISTORICALLY significant, the

With origins as a mill town, Hespeler Village is a healthy mix of working class and younger

professionals, some with families.

While housing is affordable, and big box stores and outlet malls are less than a kilometre away, the Queen Street strip readies itself for an influx of new residents in the next few years, with a more upscale feel and price scale. Restaurants are slightly pricier than those along Hespeler Road, but considering the quality and diversity of the dishes, they’re still a bargain compared to bigger city prices.

June 30 is the busiest moving day of the year says Two Men and a Truck – Canada

Canadians move every year, and of that, 14 per cent opt to move in June.

“Of that 14 per cent, a whopping one-third will choose June 30th as their moving day,” said Chuck Resnick, vice-president of Marketing and Operations, Two Men and A Truck - Canada.

“That boils down to roughly 199,000 individuals and families who will be on the hunt for boxes, packing materials, and most likely, help with their move,” he added.

“There are many reasons why June 30th is so popular,” says Resnick.

“It’s the end of the school year so it works well for parents who prefer not to disrupt their children’s schooling and to assure they get settled prior to beginning in their new school year come September. Many families also want to get settled into their new homes before the summer gets underway, to get the most out of their backyards and balconies. The Canada Day holiday also gives people an extra day to unpack and wind down, while the weather is consistently pleasant,” he said.

To make sure moving day goes smoothly, Resnick recommends planning in advance.

“Make arrangements for small children and pets to be looked after so they’re not underfoot. Pack a ‘day of the move’ box with essentials so you’re not scrambling for 24
