Darawank SUBMITTED BY ALYSSA | Parramatta Square My partner and I will be road tripping to a beautiful rural outlook AirBnB in Darawank (near Forster-Tuncurry).

The AirBnB has 3 highland cows living on the property that are friendly and can be hand fed which we are very excited for.

We are planning to explore the local area and take our bikes to ride around the property and around Forster.

We are also planning to enjoy some fresh Sydney Rock Oysters at Thirty Three Degrees and head to Forster Town Market on Sunday.

It may not be extravagant but we are very excited for this time away :)

Regional NSW SUBMITTED BY BAVI | Parramatta Square Chilling out at a rented beach bungalow overlooking the bay, relaxing on the deck with wine and food with the warmth of the outdoor fire (chiminea) and chill of the winter breeze, in between a walk along the beach and bike ride. Perhaps kayaking on the river if we’re up to it.

Western Parklands SUBMITTED BY CHARLES | Parramatta Square Start with an early morning run, then back for brunch and head out to the Western Parklands for a family picnic.

Surf Coast, Victoria SUBMITTED BY COURTNEY | Collins Square Heading down the coast to explore the beach and spot beautiful shells, head home to warm up by the fire pit and then make crispy homemade pizzas (and maybe have a glass of mulled wine).

Hamilton Island SUBMITTED BY EDWAR | Collins Square We are planning to go to either Hamilton Island or Airlie Beach to relax and bask in the sun. There’s plenty of water/beach activities from the resort to keep my young one busy.

Ningaloo Reef SUBMITTED BY EMILY | Parramatta Square Planning to fly to Perth, hire a campervan and drive up the Coral Coast to Ningaloo Reef to go diving with the whale sharks. Just need to book it in!

Bathurst SUBMITTED BY HELEN | Parramatta Square I will be travelling to Bathurst to spend the long weekend with my crafting friends. We will spend our days and evenings chatting, eating, drinking some wine and oh of course what we came for spending a whole weekend on paper crafting. We will work on our own scrap booking or card making projects while being taught new techniques in workshops over the weekend. Can’t think of a better way to spend a long weekend.

Great Ocean Road SUBMITTED BY JAMES | Collins Square Driving along the coast of Victoria, down to Geelong, to the Great Ocean Road, visit the Twelve Apostles and explore the many small towns along the way.

Most importantly, it is spending quality time with my family that will be the most worthwhile.

Northern Territory SUBMITTED BY JANINE | Collins Square Hubby and I with our gym friends (11 in total) are heading to Darwin/NT which we booked around a year ago (already suffering lockdown fatigue, little did we know there was worse to come) to see the wonderful national parks of Katherine, Kakadu & Litchfield and just hang out in the warmth of Darwin.

For the QB weekend we are embarking on a trip of a lifetime on the famous Ghan from Darwin to Adelaide, a cheeky winery stop in the Barossa and then home to Melbourne. Why stop at just a long weekend?

Dubbo SUBMITTED BY LILLIAN | Parramatta Square We’re going to enjoy the great outdoors across regional NSW: Day 1 we’re taking the scenic route via Mudgee to the Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, for a leisurely day of bike riding among the wild and cute animals, followed by an overnight safari experience!

Day 2 we’ve planned a winery tour around the Dubbo region. In the evening we’ll enjoy our newly discovered wines at a local fine dining restaurant.

Day 3 we’ll be enjoying a horse riding adventure in the morning, followed by a soothing couples day spa experience at our motel before setting off home...

Melbourne SUBMITTED BY NARELLE | Collins Square Queens birthday is always a footy weekend. We go watch a local VFL game on the Sunday and Collingwood v Melbourne on the Monday with pre game dumplings in China town.

Sydney SUBMITTED BY NIKITA | Parramatta Square I am turning 30, so I have a wonderful dinner planned with family and then the next evening I am spending with my friends at a small house party. I will then spend the rest of the weekend with my boyfriend and our best friend.

I turn 50 this year, & he turns 18 - both significant dates. Alternatively, I will be blowing up my own birthday balloons (good for lung health, I hear) & imagining I am hot air ballooning over the hunter valley.
