Come and see the amazing artistic talent in our community at this year’s Steel Days Art Show The 2023 Art Show will be exhibited at the American Fork Library (64 S 100 E .) from Tuesday, July 18 to Saturday, July 22 All local artists are invited to showcase their artwork and attending the Art Show is FREE TO THE PUBLIC!

Now through July 16: Art Registration Online

Monday, July 17: Art Drop-Off from 6:00 p m - 8:00 p .m . (AF Library)

Tuesday, July 18-Thursday, July 21:

Art Show Open 10:00 a .m - 9:00 p m (AF Library)

Thursday, July 20:

Artist Reception & Awards Night 7:00 p m . (Robinson Park, 100 E Main St )

Friday, July 21:

Art Show Open 10:00 a m - 6:00 p m (AF Library)

Saturday, July 22:

Art Show Open 12:00 p m . - 6:00 p .m (AF Library)

Art Release 6:00 p .m . - 8:00 p m (AF Library)

Age Divisions

Youth

• High School

• Junior High

• Intermediate (grades 4-6)

• Primary (grades 1-3)

• Kindergarten/Preschool

Adult

• Experienced (professional artists with at least 5 years of experience)

• Novice (beginning artists)

Entry Fees

Adults: $10 per entry | Youth: $5 per entry

Art Entry Rules

• All participating artists need to register before Sunday, July 16 at midnight

• All 2-D artwork in youth and adult divisions must be framed with a wire hanger on the back . Any entry that does not have a wire hanger will be disqualified to enter the show and the entry fee will be forfeited and donated to the city of American Fork

• A printed copy of the confirmation email must be shown at the art drop-off

• Artwork must not exceed 36 inches in any direction

• Entries must not exceed 15 pounds

• All art entries must be picked up at the AF Library on Saturday, July 22, between 6:00 p m and 8:00 p m

Awards

Professional artists in the American Fork Visual Arts Program will select the art for awards Entries in the Youth and Adult Divisions may be awarded first, second, and third place ribbons with small cash awards in each category . Honorable mention awards may also be given Special awards are:

• Chamber of Commerce’s Choice

• Friends of the Library’s Choice

• Timpanogos Arts Foundation’s Choice
