The initial investigation indicates that the victim was a passenger in an automobile traveling in the area of MLK and Thomason St. Suspect(s) fired numerous rounds into the vehicle, with at least one round striking the victim. City of Huntsville’s skate park was celebrated last Saturday, August 28, 2021 with a ribbon cutting at 9:00 am. A large crowd was on hand to hear the Mayor’s comments and to see him slice the huge red ribbon. It also helped that over 50 kids had won new skateboards and they and their parents were there to make their selection as well as enjoy some free food and then try out the new board on the new concrete of the skate park.
