The board had previously seen all of the background information on the Athletics complex and wasted no time in making
the decision to add the proposed Athletics Complex project to the long range master plan of the District. A long and somewhat eloquent speech from trustee J.T. Langley could be summarized into a few words that basically said that he was ready to do something for all of the students at HISD and the time was right because
of the availability of low interest money and how so much could be accomplished for such a small increase in the tax rate. The board has set a February 4, 2021 special called meeting in which an educated guess would be that the calling of a bond election would be on the agenda. By Wade Thibodeaux Huntsville City Council met in regular session on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 6:00 pm. at City Hall located at 1212 Avenue M in Huntsville, Texas. A public hearing was held concerning the application of a conditional use permit for the development of a recreational vehicle park facility located in the 600 block of State Highway 30 East. The council received no
comments in opposition to the application and an agenda item later in the meeting was approved on a split vote by the council for the development to go forward with the criteria contained in the conditional use application. Another agenda item that was for information only purposes dealt with a future development and the creation of a special district within the City limits and the extraterritorial
jurisdiction of the City. The developer wanted to inform the Council of their intentions to request the Councils blessing at a future meeting so that the developer could go to the State Legislature to seek the creation of a MUD(Municipal Utility District) for the proposed 730 acre subdivision. Conference. The Bearkats, along with fellow Southland Conference members Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian and Lamar, in addition to Big Sky Conference member Southern Utah will bring the total number of schools in the WAC to 13 members. The five schools will officially become Western Athletic Con-
