History of Walden's

Tim’s dad, Bob, who started the business in 1963, was in a wheelchair from an accident in his early 30s and paralyzed from under his arms down.

During his early teens, Tim helped him in the darkroom and studio during summer break as he learned all about life along with photography.

As a natural leader, it wasn't long before Tim was tapped to be the President of Kentucky Professional Photographers, going on to be elected as the President of the Professional Photographers of America, an international organization of over 30,000 members worldwide.

With awards too numerous to mention, he continues to be a force in the photography industry today, teaching other professional photographers here in the USA as well as internationally.
