Beau Visage

Dear Reader,

There are moments in a child’s life where something shifts, deepens, begins. The last trace of babyhood, the spark of confidence in their eyes, or that fleeting age where their spirit is all wonder. These moments are rare. And they pass too quickly.

That’s why we created Beau Visage.

This signature portrait painting experience is our way of honoring the pivotal ages—those beautiful years that deserve more.

Each piece becomes a visual love letter to who your child is right now—and a treasured heirloom for who they will one day become.

In this issue, you’ll discover the meaning and magic behind Beau Visage, and how it allows you to mark a moment before it moves on.

These aren’t just portraits. They’re milestones in fine art form.

The Art of Becoming: Beau Visage Paintings That Celebrate Your Loves

There are moments in your child’s life that feel weightier than others—turning five or sixteen, graduating eighth grade, stepping into their senior year, or even that quiet moment when they begin to look more like the adult they are becoming.

These ages don’t ask for a celebration—but they deserve one.

That’s where our Beau Visage Paintings come in. These studio-created, hand-crafted portrait paintings are thoughtful, artistic interpretations—infused with depth, and meaning. They capture the subtlety of growth, the quiet poise of a child turning the corner into adolescence, or the fleeting glance of emerging adulthood.

When hung in your home, they do more than decorate a wall. They hold space for who your child was, who they are now, and their incredible story, still unfolding.

“A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.”
-Paul Cezanne

Insight

Milestone Moments

• The Age of 5: Tat last bit of baby sofness, full of wonder and whimsy. Teir expressions are still wide open, full of joy, and completely themselves. And they still have their teeth:-)

• The Age of 10: It’s not childhood. But not yet teen, either. It’s a rare, %eeting moment where innocence and individuality hold hands. Tat’s why ten is so worth capturing

The Age of 12: Te beginning of the quiet shif from childhood to teen. It’s a moment ofen overlooked, yet so rich with change and meaning—when they’re still yours, but already stretching toward who they’re becoming

• The Age of “SWEET” 16: A moment that’s been celebrated throughout time. Poised, stylish, and suddenly so grown—yet still your child who needs you more than ever.

• Tux or Formal Gown: Add this to their senior portrait session for a true legacy piece.

We created a guide to help you understand the right age to bring every chapter of their life into focus. Check out our informative e-magazine, A Life in Portraits here.

Celebration

“We were so delighted when mom, Madonna, called to book this session since we had not seen these “kids” for awhile. Now, all grown up, they were such a pleasure to capture for a Beau Visage painting ( actually, 3 paintings)”.

-Tim and Bev

Character

She (mom) chose to place dad’s painting by the front door and told us this reason—so their sons would grow up seeing, every single day, the kind of strength, kindness, and character they could aspire to. We were so touched and honored…this is why we do what we do!

Wax Seal

The Wax Seal and Its History

Wax seals have long symbolized authority and authenticity, dating back to biblical times. In the Middle Ages, individuals and royalty used personal seals for various purposes, with official seals reflecting status.

The U.S. adopted its first seal in 1776, designed by Franklin, Adams, and Jefferson.

Your Beau Visage painting bears a wax seal to honor this tradition—signifying it as a unique, original piece to be passed down through generations.

The crown on the seal is the emblem of Beau Visage, a final touch of legacy.

May the seal of true friendship be found, as long as we live and the world goes around.
