It is my pleasure to introduce this impact report for the 2024-25 school year. It showcases the remarkable generosity that sustains and strengthens our community. In the pages that follow, you will see how your contributions have enabled us to expand opportunities and nurture the vibrant, inclusive environment that defines us
This report is an overview of the many ways our community’s generosity supports every corner of the Foundation. The philanthropic gifts and volunteer hours contributed by Old Savilians, Old Girls, parents, staff and friends have done far more than support programs and facilities, they have enriched the daily experience of each student. In this report, we offer a window into the impact of your generosity, highlighting the sense of purpose and connection that grows when a community chooses to invest in its young people
Thank you to everyone who continues to engage with the Foundation, whether that is through attending our events, volunteering your time to support our students or making a philanthropic gift to support the school.
Your ongoing support helps every student thrive

Regular and one off donations to support the WGSF Bursary Fund provide talented students with the opportunity to receive an outstanding education, regardless of financial circumstances.
Remembering WGSF in your Will is one of the most personal ways you can support our work. Any gift, large or small, will make a real difference to the lives of young people.

‘Throughout its history, Wakefield Grammar School Foundation has had a tradition of supporting pupils of limited means to attend our schools. As a bursary recipient myself, I know just how important that tradition has been, and how important it is that we continue to offer that kind of support going forwards ’
