I’m sometimes guilty of taking the bait, reading on and clicking the link—mostly because of natural curiosities: Have I tried something on the list? Do I know someone who’s mentioned? Will one (or more) of the items interest me?

Believe me, the annual Morris Essex Guide surely will answer all your questions.

The guide is one of my favorite issues to put together and keep handy. As a lover of lists (and who isn’t?), our staff has compiled a comprehensive index of need-to-know, who-to-call and where-to-go information for Morris and Essex counties. Whether you’re a long-time resident or someone who just moved into the neighborhood, this year’s directory is one you’ll want to browse through and save.

So what’s inside? On the following pages, you’ll find plenty of places and businesses, many of which have been serving residents for years and others that are quickly becoming local favorites. But you can use this guide to do more than track the ones you know.

Gruber Dental Introduces New Dentist DR. ALEXA GRUBER graduated from Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry before completing a one-year residency program at Morristown Medical Center. During her hospital-based residency program, she received advanced training in the treatment of complex dental cases, management of medically compromised patients, oral surgical procedures, pediatric dentistry, root canals, digital dentistry, dental implants and esthetic procedures.
