elcome to the fall/winter issue of Drive Prestige magazine. It is hard to believe that we embarked on this project four issues and a year and a half ago. At the Prestige Family of Fine Cars, we have truly enjoyed bringing a variety of stories to you—ranging from racing Lamborghinis to interviews with chefs on the off-road trail to discussions of fine art. The Prestige Family of Fine Cars always looks forward to elevating and achieving the highest standards in the automotive industry for you, our customer family. A great way to keep in touch with us is though our social network pages, where you’ll be the first to know about the various community building and automotive activities we are holding. We have a lot of exciting things happening in
the upcoming months: the 12th Annual MINI Toy Drive, Lincoln’s Driven to Give, Cars & Coffee and Gaswerks Garage Vintage Car Gatherings, to name a few. Another accomplishment we are proud of is our Lamborghini Paramus Super Trofeo Race Team, which will be wrapping up its third season and chasing our second championship in Imola, Italy in mid-November. W
hen Frank Greenberg walked into Prestige BMW in Ramsey back in 2007, he had few expectations. He had been driving other makes over the years and was just looking for a change. But,“I walked in, met Lori Asserson, and that was the end of that conversation,” he remembers. To put it simply, he was sold. “Lori was very helpful and offered me options I didn’t even know were available, and I’m fairly car savvy,” says Greenberg. “She put the right package together; it was a good number. And she never tried to push something down my throat.” Greenberg, who was a financial manager for years and now runs a home and commercial security business, estimates he had leased around 50 cars over the course of his career, but “Prestige was the most professional and easiest experience that I’d ever had.” Ten years after he started in an X3, the Suffern resident is now driving his seventh BMW, a brand-new 440Xi with Champagne Quartz metallic paint, plus leather and trim options that he chose himself as part of the BMW Individual program. “I got it as dressed up as I could,” Greenberg says.
“People comment on it because it’s a little different-looking. And it drives well. It handles well. So far, I really love it.” Greenberg says he enjoys taking his car on road trips with his daughter or down to Charlotte to see his son. His son is in a BMW 430 coupe, also purchased from Prestige, but father and son chose to pick up that car together at the BMW Performance Center in Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C. “That was a blast,” he recalls. “They put you up in hotel, you spend the day, and they teach you how to drive. And you get to use their cars, which is fun.” Greenberg likes to get a new car every few years, and he plans to stay with BMW. “I like the way the cars drive,” he explains. “I like the handling, the power, the way the powertrain feels. BMW clearly has better performance. Plus, they get good gas mileage, and I like the continuity between models and the consistency of design.” And Prestige can count on Greenberg as a long-term customer. “Prestige has earned my loyalty,” he says. “They take good care of us. My wife is also driving a BMW from there, and I’ve sent a few friends, so I think we’re responsible for 11 cars in the last 10 years. At this point, Lori is like family.”

EARL ST. CLAIR
Earl Johnson II, known by the stage name Earl St. Clair, began his musical career as a producer and writer. He claims he didn’t even know he could sing until recently. But sing he can, in a husky, gutsy voice that lingers in memory. His musical style—gritty, soulful and swaggering—is equally reminiscent of James Brown and Outkast. Of his debut album, St. Clair has said that he wanted to make something original, something that would last for more than 10 years, something that makes people feel. Give a listen, and you’ll agree that he succeeded. The album: My Name Is Earl Go-to song: “Ain’t Got It Like That” Deeper dives: “Perfect” with Bibi Bourelly and “Good Time”
CHICANO BATMAN
I’m not sure I’m equipped to explain the retro Latino power vibe of Chicano Batman, an L.A. foursome that’s been making the rounds of Bonnaroo, Coachella and some of the other big festivals. The band has a one-of-a-kind sound that blends funk, psychedelica, Brazilian Tropicalia, pop from the 1960s and ’70s, and other genres in songs that are slightly weird and very wonderful. While their latest album displays the broadest range yet, all the tracks are unite by a common thread of grooviness. JASON ISBELL The musical journey of Jason Isbell began in northern Alabama, where family taught him to play various instruments, beginning with the mandolin (easy for a kid to grip) at age 6. After a stint in the Driveby Truckers, Isbell set out on his own, recording a series of solo efforts and albums with his band, the 400 Unit. His 2015 album, Something More Than Free, debuted at No. 1 on three Billboard charts—rock, folk and country. His 2017 release, The Nashville Sound, which is up for CMA Album of the Year, raises the bar for articulate Americana. I
t’s been a stellar season in the Super Trofeo North American Series for the Prestige Performance team and Lamborghini Paramus. After a strong showing at Circuit of the Americas and Watkins Glen, they boasted a one-two finish at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., in early August. Trent Hindman and Italian driver Riccardo “Ricky” Agostini, in car number 1, won the race, with the number 10 car, driven by Alex Popow and Michele Beretta, coming in second. “We were elated,” says Mark Laino, race program manager for Prestige Performance. “We’re fighting for the championship, and going into Road America, it was real close.” The team continued to rack up points at Virginia International Raceway at the end of August. “Trent had the absolute race of a lifetime there,” says Laino. Their car was in the lead when Agostini came into the pit 2 mph over the pit lane speed limit, causing Hindman to have to do a drive-through penalty (go through the pit lane again at the pit lane speed limit) when he took the wheel. “When he came out, he was 16 seconds behind the leader,” says Laino. “With less than 20 minutes to go in the race, he made up that entire gap and won the race. It was an astounding accomplishment.” Hindman recalls how he felt behind the wheel: “I won’t say I was driving out of anger. But I was like, ‘Okay, it’s go time. You’ve got to make it happen

if you want to win.’ That was a memorable one for sure.” The cars are maintained by Wayne Taylor Racing, “the absolute best in the business,” says Laino. “They are considered to be the top of the racing world.” Team manager Travis Houge makes sure these super cars, which race at speeds up to 175 mph, are working the way they should. “The Lamborghini is just built to be fast,” he says. “Drivers like the power of it and the braking ability.” Going into Leguna Seca, held in Monterey, Calif., in September, Prestige was leading the team championship by 15 points and Hindman and Agostini were leading the driver championship by 11 points. In the first race, Hindman and Agostini led the whole time until the last lap when they suffered a mechanical issue, causing them to finish 12th. “We were so close to victory, but that’s racing,” says Laino. But Popow and Cameron Cassels came in fifth overall and third in the Pro Am class, and on day two, more valuable points were acquired when Hindman and Agostini finished second overall and first in class. Popow and Cassels finished third in class for another podium visit. And in the amateur class, Pippa Mann and Shea Holbrook finished fourth. “The points were invaluable,” says Laino. “We left that race in supersolid position going into the last race at Imola.” Prestige has a good shot at winning the driver championship, the team championship and the dealer championship (all of which they won last year) when they compete Nov. 16 and 17 in Imola, Italy. “Our commitment to this program and how we operate at the highest level translates to how we do things at the dealership level,” says Laino. “All of our stores are beautiful; our customer service goes above and beyond. Just as we want to win at racing, we want to make everyone’s experience the best that it can be.” For now, all eyes are on Imola, where the team will compete in the World Finals after the North American Series concludes. “It’s a different track for us, and in the U.S. cars are run a little different than they run in Europe,” says Houge. “But our chances are pretty good.” Hindman looks forward to leaning on his Italian teammates Agostini and Beretta, hoping they can shed light on a track they are much more familiar with, just as he’s taken them under his wing and shown them the ins and outs of racing in the U.S. “To win a world championship would be huge,” Hindman says. “As a North American team, it’s going to be challenging, but we’re going to sure try, and I think we have a good shot at it.”

dream team It’s certainly something you don’t see every day—a female pairing at the Super Trofeo. But Pippa Mann and Shea Holbrook have more than held their own during their races this season for Prestige Performance. “It’s impressive because it’s a very male-dominated sport,” says Mark Laino, race program manager for Prestige Performance. “But they can go out and compete at as high a level as any of the drivers in the series.” Although they are competing as amateurs, not having logged a lot of time in a GT, both drivers are plenty experienced behind the wheel. Mann, a Brit who now lives in Indianapolis, is well-known for being one of the few women drivers who competes in the Indianapolis 500. This year, Mann’s pre-qualifying Fast Friday time of 230.103 mph made her the first woman to break the 230 mph barrier around Indianapolis Motor Speedway. She finished 17th in the big race. Holbrook, who lives in Orlando, has been racing Hondas in the touring car division of the Pirelli World Challenge for the past seven years and owns her own business, Shea Racing, running two cars in that series. But driving a Lamborghini Huracán is pretty different than driving a Honda. “There was a huge transition switching to the Lamborghini,” says Holbrook. “I had to learn the nuances of the car. It’s called the bull for a reason. But Prestige showed a lot of faith in me, and I was able to rely on the other drivers to help me as well. ” Mann also found her transition from open-wheel to a road car chal-

lenging. “It’s incredibly different,” she says. “But to learn with such great equipment, with such great teammates in such great cars is an opportunity that not many people have.” The two women have been friends for years and had always wanted to race together but had never actually been able to make it happen, until now. “The reality was actually better than the vision we had,” says Mann. “We get along really well as teammates. We complement each other very well inside the car as well as outside of the car.” The duo raced together for the first time at Road America in Wisconsin in August. Despite rainy weather that severely limited their track time, the pair just missed the podium, coming in fourth in class. At Leguna Seca in California, they were in the hunt for second place when a tire went out, taking them out of the first race. In the second race, they came in fourth in class and just missed finishing in the top 10 overall. “We came very close to achieving our goals,” says Mann. “I started to really feel for the first time this year that we’re making some serious progress.” The unusual pair certainly has a lot of people rooting for them. How do they feel about being role models for little girls? “It’s very cool, but with that comes a responsibility,” says Mann. “We try to hold ourselves to the highest standard, but that being said, we tell parents not to let their girls tune into our radio frequencies as we’re driving the cars. Just because we’re women doesn’t mean we don’t also have potty mouths.”

t is nearly impossible to find an automobile that combines true sports car capability with top-of-the-line luxury, comfort and design—but Lexus has created just that. The 2018 LC 500 is the company’s new flagship vehicle, and it’s nothing short of amazing. The car presents itself with an athletic carriage that is simultaneously elegant and muscular. To accompany its wide stance, the LC is the first Lexus to boast the spindle grille, which stretches from the hood to the bottom of the bumper and adds an aggressive element to the car’s appearance. On both sides of the grille are triple-beam headlights, which are both visually appealing and highly functional. They’re only outdone by the dimensional rear tail lamps, which give a 3D appearance and add depth to the lights. To top it off, the roof has exposed carbon fiber, adding to its sporty look. The car sits on 21-inch silver rims, which glisten in the sunlight and are wrapped in run-flat tires. The slim tires and large rims allow for better cornering and road feel. Every detail on the vehicle, from the waterfall effect on the grille to the luxurious materials used on the interior, separates the LC 500 from its competitors. And about that luxurious interior: This LC 500 complements its Ultra White exterior with a Rioja Red leather interior. In addition to the leather, materials used on the interior of the car include suede and Alcantara with perfectly completed stitching. The soft leather creates a comfort for drivers that is unmatched in the car’s class, while the usage of the different materials adds more luxury and uniqueness to the car. a large monitor that serves as the display for media, radio and navigation. It’s all controlled by a touchpad on the center console that works similar to most touchscreen monitors. The craftsmanship that was put into every part of the interior of this vehicle is worth noting; the classic analog clock and the soft-closing center console compartment are a testament to
Lexus’ attention to detail. Along with all the amazing features of the vehicle, the comfort, functionality and appearance of the interior make it light years ahead of the comptition. I
f ever a destination dealt in transformation, it’s Sedona, Arizona. You needn’t believe what they say about the spiritual energy of the place to see that there’s something powerful about Sedona. Nor do you have to visit an alternative healer, take a walk with a “coyote talker” or experience the sublime at one of Sedona’s spas (though you can do all these things). The setting alone—with its soaring red rock buttes, sculpted spires and stunning cliffs—is enough to work magic. Even down-to-earth, grounded-in-reality types say they feel a special energy in Sedona. Reports one recent visitor: “Something there really spoke to me.” Over the past few decades, this once sleepy town and longtime magnet for artists has evolved into a first-class resort community. Besides fine lodging, dining and shopping, Sedona offers activities and attractions that promise to soothe the souls not only of spiritual seekers and nature lovers, but also of art and culture buffs, history and archaeology fans, active adventurers and anyone else in need of renewal. You can reach Sedona by flying into Phoenix, renting a car and driving about two hours north. When you arrive, you’ll be in a bowl-shaped valley that sits about 4,500 feet above sea level. First-time visitors expecting a sandy desert landscape are surprised by the broad swaths of pine forest surrounding Sedona. The green trees create a striking contrast to red sandstone monoliths with names such as Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Two Nuns and Elephant Rock. If you’ve been to the Grand Canyon, Sedona’s red rock formations will feel familiar. That’s because the rock layers of Sedona’s half-mile-high cliffs are nearly identical to those found in the upper half of the Grand Canyon. There is one key difference: In Sedona, rather than looking down on the striated sandstone cliffs and monoliths, you’re surrounded by them. That’s part of the power of the place. Most days, the backdrop for this beauty is a vast, intensely blue sky and a bright
desert sun whose long rays cast a fiery orange glow on the cliffs at sunrise and sunset. (Desert sun notwithstanding, Sedona’s climate is comfortable year-round; it’s only in July and August that the mercury regularly soars into the 90s, and even then nights are cool.) Depending on where you stay in Sedona, you can step outside your door, keep on walking and within 15 minutes find yourself high up on one of those magnificent cliffs. But the best news is that you don’t have to be especially fit to hit the hills, since there’s a wide choice of hiking trails, from easy to difficult. Even avid hikers will want to put aside their hiking gear for a Jeep tour of Sedona’s backcountry. These off-road tours bounce along through rugged territory, exploring area canyons, following old stagecoach routes, visiting ancient ruins and climbing to the top of the 2,000-foot-high Mogollon Rim. The great outdoors in Sedona is so alluring that you may feel you can never get enough. Fortunately, there are plenty of options for exploring it, including guided horseback excursions, mountain biking and sightseeing aloft by hot air balloon, helicopter or plane. Or just hop in a car and drive. Among nearby sights worth a visit are Chapel of the Holy Cross, an inspiring modern shrine built right into the red rocks, scenic Boynton Canyon and Red Rock Crossing, whose views of Oak Creek and Cathedral Rock have been photographed so often they’ll seem familiar. You can even drive or take a tour from Sedona to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, just two and a half hours away. Or stay closer to home and visit the former hillside mining town of Jerome. One drive not to miss is Highway 89A as it winds up 16-mile long Oak Creek Canyon. With sheer walls and unusual rock formations, this stretch of road has been named one of the nation’s most scenic drives. In summer, the creek is stocked

Opposite, Cathedral Rock, whose spires stand 1,000 feet over the road below, is known as a vortex center and a place for blissful meditation. Hiking in Sedona is an exhilarating experience, with trails for every fitness level. Visitors can hire a spiritual guide to lead them to vortex areas. with trout and swimming holes beckon. Between late September and mid-October, you’ll be treated to blazing autumn foliage. And no matter when you visit, you can stop along the way for a hike or a creek-side picnic. Leave time to drive all the way to Oak Creek Vista for a dramatic bird’s-eye view of the area. While there, you can pick up locally crafted wares on sale by Native American artisans. If you’re traveling with children—or you’re kid-minded yourself—you’ll want to stop at Slide Rock State Park, don your bathing suit and splash your way down a natural water slide. Nature is not Sedona’s only attraction. The region’s human history is just as compelling. Numerous ruins and rock art sites tell of ancient peoples who were skilled in pottery, weaving and agriculture and who traded with peoples throughout the Americas long before Europeans came. The most impressive of the sights is Montezuma Castle, about 25 miles south of Sedona. Constructed in the 12th century by the Sinaguan people, this five-story, 20room dwelling is built into the sides of a high cliff. A few miles away is Montezuma Well, a huge sinkhole that’s fed by underground springs that support a verdant oasis. You can take tours of these and other sites that focus on the archaeological, cultural and geological history. Artistic types have long found that Sedona’s beauty fuels the muse. In the 1920s, Hollywood discovered that red rock country makes a dramatic film set, and numerous Westerns have been filmed here since. The first well-known visual artist to “discover” Sedona was surrealist painter and sculptor Max Ernst, who lived here in

the 1950s, initiating an influx of artists that continues today. Today, Sedona has a thriving art scene. Art lovers can spend days perusing collections of Native American, Southwestern and Western arts and crafts in more than 40 galleries, and the Sedona Arts Center offers a full calendar of exhibitions, plays and workshops. At Sedona Cultural Park, concerts are held in an outdoor amphitheater. As if nature didn’t provide enough in the way of spectacular settings, visitors can also book a stay at the luxurious Mii Amo spa, which takes its name from the Native American word for journey. A world-class destination in itself, it’s set within the grounds of the luxurious 70-acre Enchantment Resort in secluded Boynton Canyon. Lodgings here have unmatched views of undulating red rock walls and formations, contrasting with the deep green of trees. For some, however, what makes Sedona most compelling are not the visual delights, but a handful of energy fields called vortexes that are said to elicit profound healing and spiritual experiences. Never scientifically proven, the vortexes are nonetheless the reason so many seekers, mystics and healers find their way to this spot. Perhaps they’re also why this area has long been considered sacred by native peoples. Find out for yourself by taking a vortex tour, or strike out on your own for the vortex sites, many of which are located at Sedona’s most dramatic rock formations. One way or the other, you’re bound to find it a powerful—perhaps even transformative—experience.

hat’s better than a classic Land Rover Defender? One that has been restored and customized into a European super truck. What’s better than that? One that can be found in the United States. Normally, a Land Rover Defender in the U.S. would be a rare sight, but thanks to English-based firm Arkonik, these vintage beauties have made their way across the Atlantic. Arkonik, hailing from England’s West Country, acquires old Defenders and upgrades them with modern technology while also preserving their original allure. Through the vision of CEO Andy Hayes, Arkonik has spent the longer half of the past decade scouring through Europe to locate and purchase Land Rover Defenders. The lucky few that are selected are appraised and brought to the company’s factory in Somerset, England; they then go through a five-step workshop and painting process before being photographed and shipped around the world. Since arriving in the U.S., three have found homes within the Prestige Family

W
hether or not it’s the place where—as Cheers had it—“everybody knows your name,” the cocktail bar is a venerable institution. It’s where many of us recuperate from a tough day, follow our sports teams, make new friends or argue trivia with old ones. There we’re at our most convivial, and sometimes our fanciest—or grungiest—or loudest. But in recent years there’s been something new on the bar: the cocktails themselves. Oh, today’s drinks still taste good and give you a buzz. But a new generation of innovative bartenders is making them more interesting than ever. These often competitive pros are concocting new combinations, searching out novel ingredients, squeezing fresh juices from exotic fruits and making their own syrups, all in the name of your glorious good time. Meet four of them—with a cocktail recipe from each—on these pages.

NORTH Aaron Pollack The Dawson, Chicago It isn’t just the Cubs that make Chicago cool. “The city is now at the forefront of the culinary and hospitality industry,” says Aaron Pollack, bar manager at The Dawson, located in an old fireplace-mantel factory in the West Town neighborhood. “We’re no longer just doing what New York or San Francisco was doing.” Pollack, 34, grew up in nearby Wheaton, Ill., and started his bar career as a University of Iowa mechanical engineering major, discus thrower and shotputter. Today he puts shots in a glass. A bartender, he believes, is one of society’s last true generalists, someone who must know a little about many things and be able to talk to anyone.

He draws on Chicago’s rich cultural mix. “One of my favorite things to do when I’m developing a new seasonal cocktail,” says Pollack, “is go to the little bodegas and Mexican grocerias in my neighborhood, Humboldt Park, and look at fruits I didn’t grow up with as an Italian-American kid. That’s how I push my boundaries.” Indeed, this genial Midwest jock is an innovative craftsman who enters worldwide cocktail competitions—in Morocco this September, for example. “I took a pay cut to come to The Dawson and really explore my cocktail game,” he says. “You make more money crankin’ beers and pourin’ shots.” Still, Pollack’s no cocktail snob. “Six or seven years ago our industry got a little pretentious,” he admits. “It was, ‘Oh, you don’t know what I’m making? Then you can’t have one!’” Today he sees—and embodies— a more welcoming approach: “I’ll tell you about it and let you try it. And if you don’t like it, I’ll make something you do like.”

EAST Harrison Ginsberg The Dead Rabbit, New York What’s this—a bartender who worked gratis? Harrison Ginsberg grew up in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., and attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. When a Providence restaurant called The Dorrance opened with an ambitious cocktail program, he labored there free for six months to learn his craft. It paid off. Today, at 27, after a stint at The Dawson in Chicago, he tends bar at two downtown Manhattan spots, The Dead Rabbit and BlackTail. And he collects not just paychecks, but prizes in cocktail competitions—last fall Drinks International magazine named the Rabbit the world’s best bar.
Ginsberg started out to be a chef, but his detour to libations wasn’t so unlikely. After all, it’s the recent revolution in cuisine—insisting on fresh ingredients and doing things right even if it takes longer—that inspired a similar renaissance behind the bar. Today, he says, you’ll see surprising savory ingredients in cocktails—mushrooms, dill and miso, for example. “When I’m out I like to find a drink on the menu that doesn’t sound like it’s up my alley at all, and order that,” he says. But when Ginsberg and his girlfriend entertain in their home in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill neighborhood, his mainstay is a batch of gin martinis made with a liter of a London dry gin such as Tanqueray, 500 milliliters of vermouth and 10 ounces of water, stirred and stored in bottles in the freezer. “The texture changes slightly in the freezer,” he says, “so that the gin has a rich, creamy, velvety feel.”

SOUTH Curtis Carrillo Sweet Liberty, Miami Beach Truly “elevated” cocktail craftsmanship is practiced in perhaps eight or 10 markets around the country by 30 or 40 with-it mixology mavens, says Curtis Carrillo, 31, of Miami Beach’s Sweet Liberty. “We all kind of travel in the same circles, you know?” he says. “It’s a lot smaller world than people think.” Young bartenders today draw inspiration, he explains, from pioneers who helped revive the classic pre-Prohibition cocktail art, including three who won fame in New York starting in the late 1980s and early ’90s: Dale DeGroff at the Rainbow Room, the late Sasha Petraske at Milk & Honey

and Jim Meacham at Please Don’t Tell. Carrillo grew up in southern California, tending bar through college, and worked in Las Vegas before landing in South Florida. He says his style was influenced by the “high-volume” places he’s been employed, but bartending has always required more than putting drinks—even creative ones—on the bar. “People think bartenders just listen,” he says. “But a really good bartender gives you back something better than you give him or her.” Seems something’s going right. Sweet Liberty was chosen last year as the Best New American Cocktail Bar in the Spirited Awards at the 15-year-old annual New Orleans cocktail festival “Tales of the Cocktail.” “The cocktail scene here is still being defined,” says Carrillo. “I like that about Miami Beach. We take things a little less seriously here.”

WEST Yael Vengroff The Spare Room, Los Angeles Can you have exacting standards and still be fun? You can if you’re Yael Vengroff, beverage director at The Spare Room, which combines a bar with bowling and gaming in the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. “Everyone’s very supportive in L.A., which is great,” says the 30-year-old. “But we also need to be critical and have the guts to say, ‘We can do better.’” Part of it is simply that broad-based cocktail culture is relatively new here— even though the Roosevelt itself opened six days before Lindbergh’s flight in 1927 and for two years was Marilyn Monroe’s home. “In terms of technique,” says Vengroff,
“L.A. still has a lot of growing to do.” Yet she estimates that 70 percent of her customers are cocktail connoisseurs who value her insistence on using fresh juices and homemade syrups. And this perfectionist is anything but uptight. “I’m a ‘have fun at the bar’ type,” she says. “I try to be as unprecious as possible. It’s about the guest having a good time.” The Houston native attended NYU and started as a cocktail waitress in an East Village sports bar. She first tended bar at 19 at the Tailor under Eben Freeman. After moving to L.A., she was named “Fastest Hands in the West” in 2014 and took over the beverage program at The Spare Room the next year, helping it snag Time Out Los Angeles’ 2016 “Bar of the Year” honors. “Be adventurous,” she advises. “Branch out from that one brand you’re always drinking. You may open yourself to a whole new world of flavor.”

This past summer, our McLaren customers were given the opportunity to put their vehicles to the test in their natural environment—the racetrack. At Lime Rock Park, an incredible facility with rich history and an exciting track, drivers were able to follow lead cars and even join the McLaren team drivers for “hot laps” to get a glimpse of the automobile’s true capabilities. We were lucky to have a wide variety of McLaren vehicles on hand, ranging from the amazing 570S to an extremely rare P1. Seeing these cars grace the track was an unbelievable sight—as they came

It was impossible for car fanatics to take their eyes off of these impressive vehicles, making for an experience that none of the participants will soon forget. If you’ve never ridden in a supercar on a track, add it to your bucket list—every second of being in the vehicle is a thrill. The initial launch will have you glued to your seat as the rear-wheel drive propels you forward; you’ll then hold on tight as you begin sliding through tight turns at high speeds. As you come around the back end of the track at Lime Rock, a small hill will give the impression that the car is taking off like a jet plane. The subsequent, stomach-dropping feel is a quick one as the hill comes down into the straightaway, where the vehicle is able to reach top speeds.

Those who joined us for last year’s rally are pictured here at the hospital. The Toy Drive is a staple for the holiday season and will be held again this year on December 16.

Every year, in both the early summer and during the fall, Prestige MINI and MINI of Dutchess County welcome all MINIacs to join us for our MINI Movie Night. The event serves as the perfect opportunity to showcase the uniqueness of each MINI vehicle, as well as give owners the chance to meet fellow enthusiasts of the brand. But what makes the evening extra special? Participants meet at one of the two dealerships, where everyone is welcomed with a commemorative T-shirt and delicious meal. Next up: The groups depart for the Warwick Drive-In Theater. This year’s fall event was held on October 5, and the crisp weather, buttery popcorn and excellent drive-in movie made for a night to remember!
