Whether you’re 5 years old or 50, enjoy non-stop action and family fun at Nickelodeon Universe—the largest indoor theme park in the Western Hemisphere. Adventure seekers will get their fill of thrills on spinning rides and steep coasters. For the younger set, the park boasts merry-go-rounds, swing sets, Blaze’s Monster Truck Rally and live dances and entertainment. As you bounce from ride to ride, keep your eyes open for Nick’s beloved characters and stop for photo ops with SpongeBob, Dora, Blue and more! Various ride packages and add-ons are available, including an All Access Pass for unlimited rides, a Points Pass that lets you pay only for the number of rides you want to go on and the Nick QuickPass to skip lines. Make your visit to American Dream a memorable one at any of our individual stores and attractions. Head upstairs to Level 3 and board the Dream Wheel by Skyviews, a state-of-the-art outdoor observation wheel featuring 27 climate-controlled gondolas that offer unobstructed and unbelievable views of the New York City skyline.

Social media influencers and people who just like taking photos will find an abundance of Instagram-worthy spots in American Dream, from the Mirror Maze to the Legends of the Hidden Temple Ropes Course. But one of the most unique locations is TiLT a Tracy Lee Stum Museum®, a walkable work of art by worldrenowned urban art master Tracy Stum. She uses American Dream as her canvas, creating mind-blowing pieces that allow you to become part of the art by simply adjusting your (and your camera’s) point of view. Cool off any day of the year at DreamWorks Water Park, the largest indoor water park in North America. Set at a comfy 81 degrees and filled with record-breaking water slides, waterfalls, luxury cabanas and more, it’s the perfect getaway for when you want to get away. The onsite store has plenty of gear to use in the park as well as playful keepsakes—or just grab a memento from the penny press at the park entrance. Of course, you can take plenty of your own photos, especially while you’re splashing around with some of DreamWorks’ characters, including the big green guy himself Shrek, Puss in Boots and Po. Want to boost your experience? Rent one of the luxury skyboxes, each featuring designs by world-renowned interior decorator Jonathan Adler and equipped with plush sofas, comfy tables and chairs, televisions and other modern amenities. If you prefer sweaters and pants over swimsuits and sandals, head over to The Rink at American Dream. The NHL-regulation size ice skating rink has plenty of room for those enjoying an open skate session or renting the facility for their private party on the ice. It’s also home to the Metropolitan Riveters, a professional women’s team that plays in the Premier Hockey Federation. Is your kid an aspiring pro? Sign up your little ones for the New Jersey Devils’ Learn to Play Program. Bring your own skates or use a pair of rentals (they’re included with admission!).

Let’s be honest: You’ll need to refuel if you plan to spend a day at American Dream—after all, there are hundreds of stores and attractions to see! You’re in luck, however, because there are several dozen eateries throughout the complex. For instance, if you’re looking for a sweet treat in every color of the rainbow, IT’SUGAR on Level 1 offers every type of candy imaginable…and more. For bigger bites, options abound at the Coca-Cola Eats Food Court for fast and fast-casual options or The Food Hall on Level 2 for luxe culinary offerings. You’ll also find games like oversized corn hole, Connect 4 and foosball in The Food Hall. But if it’s games galore you’re looking for, you and your kids can enjoy a wonderland of toys, games, Geoffrey’s ice cream parlor and a two-story slide at the Toys“R”Us flagship store on Level 1. Who doesn’t love a snow day? Now you can enjoy a day off on the slopes any time you want at Big SNOW at American Dream. The park is North America’s first and only indoor, real snow, yearround ski resort. Experienced skiers and snowboarders can ride the lifts to the top and shred either the freestyle Northern Lights or Switchback trails. A couple of novice skiers in your crew? There are slopes geared for beginners and those still learning. Programs for kids and newbies as well as equipment rentals are offered. Daily, three-day and monthly passes are available.
