The whānau of Pouakani Marae was pleased to welcome and host ngā wahine, ngā tane, ngā tamariki, ngā kuia from Wairarapa on April 17 – 19. The weekend involved both combined and separate activities attended by both the men and women. Saturday morning commenced with the whakapapa, history and tikanga programme led by Memory Te Whaiti.
