Our first Inuit Art auction of the year features a selection of sculptures made from stone, bone, ivory, and antler alongside a large collection of works on paper. Be sure to also look for a ceramic piece from Rankin Inlet, wall hangings from Baker Lake, and a large acrylic on canvas painting by Davie Atchealak.
Artists of note include Manasie Akpaliapik, Bill Nasogaluak, Toonoo Sharky, David Ruben, Kiawak Ashoona, Barnabus Arnasungaaq, Abraham Etungat, Mathew Aqigaaq, Pitseolak Ashoona, William Noah, Kananginak Pootoogook, Pudlo Pudlat, and Luke Anguhadluq.
