Arterial Procedure Pack for mostcareup Activation: A complete arterial procedure pack designed to enable the clinician to manage the haemodynamic status of the patient. The pack includes: • leadercath polyethylene Seldinger arterial catheter 20G x 8cm with excellent high quality signal transmission • Wireless activation of mostcareup using a convenient RFID tag • Ready-to-use: sterile procedure pack to enable successful placement of the arterial catheter.

mostcareUp - Up to the beat: mostcareup is a haemodynamic monitoring system providing a continuous and real-time follow-up of the haemodynamic status of the patient through cardiac output values and other advanced variables.

MostCareUp is based on a patented algorithm called PRAM (Pressure Recording Analytical Method).

PRAM measures the blood pressure signal at a frequency of 1000 samples per second. By using such a high frequency we are able to accurately detect and measure the value of the dicrotic pressure, which provides accurate information on the patient’s vascular condition and ventriclearterial coupling, without the need for calibration.

mostcareup uses the position of the dicrotic notch to calculate each patient’s unique impedance, also known as Z(t). Accordingly mostcareup provides continuous, real-time accurate data for both adult & paediatric patients including those patients with arrhythmia as well as patients with veno-venous ECMO, intra-aortic balloon pump and other challenging cases.

MostCareUp RFID tag is used to activate the On-Demand Version of the monitor MostCareUp. It is placed inside this leaflet under the logo .

Put it over the RFID reader on the top of MostCareUp and go through the menu to download the credit on the machine (details in MostCareUp user manual).

Each RFID tag enables the user to perform the advanced haemodynamic monitoring of one patient for a maximum of 72 hours.
