Verde Valley School soccer players will join AYSO United every year. AYSO United is a nationally recognized club in partnership with US Club Soccer. which includes some of Northern Arizona’s best players.
This partnership offers fantastic opportunities for VVS students looking to elevate their soccer game. It guarantees year-round soccer training and competitive opportunities, while also providing studentathletes with greater visibility to college recruiters. This level of competitive experience is unmatched in VVS’ current interscholastic leagues.
AYSO has been a prominent grassroots soccer organization in the United States for many years. Over the past decade, AYSO has recognized the potential for developing club soccer opportunities in areas like the Verde Valley. Currently, there are 36 AYSO United teams across Arizona.
This relationship with a well-known club is important for VVS as we strive to expand opportunities for both our international and domestic students. As a residential educational community in Arizona, our student-athletes have the advantage of training for soccer throughout the year. The United States club soccer system plays a crucial role in player development, leading to college soccer opportunities that are often difficult to achieve through high school interscholastic programs alone.
