Committee to raise 5K for removal efforts COREY MCDONALD STAFF WRITER
The Shelburne Village Dog Park rests directly atop a Class II wetland, making for a sometimes-muddy experience, but with three acres to run and sniff it’s doubtful the dogs are doing much complaining. But another consequence of the park’s wetland classification has arisen in recent years that could cause some harm to visiting pooches: several invasive plant species, some that could be quite

The move would limit the See ZONING on page 12

The initial fire call said four people were trapped inside the burning home of Andrew and Rachel Cartwright, according to chief Jerry Ouimet. The home, at 548 Ridgefield Road, is part of a development off Route 7 diagonally across from the Vermont Teddy
Bear Company. Ouimet was first on the scene about nine minutes after the first alarm and Andrew Cartwright told him that his wife and three children made it out from a second See FIRE on page 11
