Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) is a leading maritime offshore-services supplier, based in Aberdeen (UK). An international operator, VOS has been active in the offshore oil & gas market since 1964, today offering services to both renewable and oil & gas clients.

VOS excels in the provision of diverse services and solutions for key offshore-support needs, including field-support, emergency-responseand-rescue, multi-role-vessel, survey and subsea-support services. VOS Aberdeen is one of the market leaders for ERRV services on the UK continental shelf. A major part of the fleet has cargo-carrying capabilities, while some vessels have towing and tanker-assist features.

Supported by a team at the Vroon headquarters in Breda (NL), VOS also offers a wide range of complementary offshore services.

A highly qualified and professional team of on-board crews and shore-based colleagues handles the full management scope of our service portfolio, including commercial, shipmanagement and operational matters. The VOS office and vessels operate to the highest safety and operational standards, making use of extensive ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and Vroon-customised management systems.

Crewing support is provided by Deeside Crewing Services, also located in Aberdeen (UK).

Emergency response and rescue vessels

Subsea-support vessels

VOS operates approximately 34 emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRV). The emergency response and rescue service continues 24/7, 365 days/year at location.

Our fleet also offers a wide range of subsea-support services. The vessels and their crews, assisted by dedicated experts ashore, can provide a safe platform for offshore divers, ROV (remotely operated vehicle) pilots, riggers and client personnel, offering the option for cranes with operating ranges up to 50 tons. We offer ultra-fuel-efficient four-point-mooring-positioning functionality, in addition to DP-2 operations. Our modern vessels are SPS-compliant and offer state-of-the-art ICT functionality.

The ERRVs, boasting state-of-the-art rescue equipment and rescue crafts, and their crews guarantee the safety of all who work on offshore installations. In addition to response and rescue duties, the vessels offer a range of extra services, including cargo operations, towage assistance, traffic monitoring, pollution control and general in-field support. With the main areas of operation being West of Shetlands, the North Sea and the Irish Sea Basin, our vessels and crews are skilled in operating during challenging weather conditions and able to respond to any emergency situation within two minutes.
