On September 20 , our Parents as Teachers program hosted a fantastic “Things That Go” event, bringing families together for a morning of fun and connection. From exploring vehicles to enjoying sweet treats to beat the heat, the day was filled with smiles and community spirit. th
A heartfelt thank-you goes to the community members who generously gave their time and “cool” automobiles, to support our families and programs including, The VP Fire Department, Cool Times Ice Cream, City of VP Public Works, McNamara Towing, USPS and the St. Louis County Police.

Never Forget: VPSD Holds 9/11 Ceremony
On September 11, 2025, Valley Park School District gathered at the flagpole to honor and remember the events of September 11. Students and staff took part in a solemn ceremony that included recognition of veterans Mr. Turner and Mr. Neal, with Mr. Neal sharing heartfelt remarks about the day that forever changed our nation

The choir performed the National Anthem, followed by the playing of Taps by Kennedy King ‘26. The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of remembrance, resilience and community.
