Hello Vantage Point team members and welcome to the Fall 2023 edition of our Point of Contact newsletter! It’s hard to believe we’re fast approaching the holiday season and, even more so, the start of 2024.

As this will be our last edition before the Holiday season I want to say how thankful I am for each and every member of the Vantage Point team. Seeing the growth in each community as well as at the corporate level this year has been incredible.

Your community teams have risen to every challenge and celebrated successes together as a family. I am proud to say our teams are amongst the most passionate and dedicated in the industry and we’re honored you continue to choose your Vantage Point community as your home away from home.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you! And I wish you nothing but health, happiness, and enjoyment this coming holiday season and into 2024.

Corporate Updates As always, our community and corporate teams have been busy!

Our Communities Grow

Since our last edition of this Newsletter, we can happily report that The Lodge at Historic Lewes is now completely open and welcoming residents in all levels of care at the community. Congratulations to the entire community for their hard work in getting their license and welcome to new team members who continue to onboard.

Additionally, Fieldstone at Chester Springs is preparing to formally launch its sales efforts and will begin building its team starting November 1st! Located in Chester Springs, PA, Fieldstone will seek to hire a variety of team members in departments and roles similar to that of your own communities.

As our communities and teams continue to grow, it’s important to mention that we offer an employee referral bonus program for any team member directly referred by another Vantage Point employee! For more information on this program, contact your community’s human resources leader.

Employee Platform Updates

As mentioned in previous editions of our newsletter, we recognize that there have been significant challenges and inconveniences utilizing employee platforms since converting to Vantage Point’s new Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Resourcing Edge.

Arcadia Acknowledges Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

The Readers’ Choice - Arcadia!

This September we held an event at Arcadia to dedicate a memorial bench to the son of one of our team members, Rachel Pollock.

Arcadia at Limerick Pointe was voted the best Personal Care Community by the readers of The Mercury for the second year in a row. Thanks to our dedicated team for all your hard work that shines a light on our community. Your hard work and dedication shows throughout the community!

Rachel, her husband Joe, and their daughter, Bella, along with the Arcadia staff joined together to celebrate a very special young man, their son and brother, JJ. We shared the story of JJ who was diagnosed with The Pollock Family Wilms tumor, a cancer of the kidneys that affects children. JJ was one of many children diagnosed with cancer every year. In 2023, an estimated 9,910 children 15 years old and younger along with another 5,280 teens between the ages of 15 to 19 in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer.

JJ’s story isn’t just about cancer, its about a young man who demonstrated to those around him what the strength of a warrior was, and to have the quiet perseverance of a life worth living. He often told JJ Pollock others to be brave, yet we looked into his eyes and wanted to know how we could be braver than him.

Rachel, Joe, and Bella, and the staff at Arcadia came together on September 27th to share in the remembrance of JJ. In his short 11 years of life, he

Loving the Lewes Lodge Life Life at Lewes is never dull!

Since our first move-in over the summer, our incredible recreation & events team hit the ground running.

They have brought exciting events and programs to our residents like our Breakfast Club & Walking Group, musical groups and performers like Crescent City Collection & Vince Varrassi, cooking demonstrations, and the first of many sip & sketch happy hours.

With the upcoming holiday season, we know our team will be busier than ever planning fun for fall and transforming our community into a winter wonderland!

Welcoming Our Newest Residents - and Team Members!

IL residents have called The Lodge at Lewes home for a few months now, but after receiving our CO for Assisted Living and Memory Care, we’ve begun to welcome residents home on that side of the community! A very special thank you to our entire team, those who have been here for a while and those who have just joined, for all of your hard work and dedication to making our residents feel right at home at Lewes Lodge.

When Life Hands Truitt Lodge Lemons, We Make Pink Lemonade!

When Mother Nature sends you the snippets of a hurricane named Ophelia, you can hunker down or party hard! At The Lodge at Truitt Homestead, we always choose the latter!

On Saturday, with soggy weather, we turned The Lodge PINK and had four showings of “BARBIE” in our Theatre, complete with pink sugar cookies, pink cupcakes, and pink Lemonade!

Closing Out the Summer by Bringing Vegas to Meadowcrest’s Independent Living This August we hosted a fabulous Las Vegas themed Casino Party to finish out our Summer Party Series.

Residents and their guests were decked out in their finest, enjoying superb cuisine from our Culinary Department while enjoying entertainment including live dealers, roulette, slots and blackjack and music.

A Centenarian Celebration!

Meadowcrest resident Lois B. celebrated her 100th birthday with us in September! Joined by family, friends, neighbors, and community staff, our guest of honor celebrated 100 years young... in style!

On Sunday afternoon we delighted our Residents with a very special performance by Vince and Ken from 5th Avenue It may have been damp outside, but spirits, and pink, Jazz, complete with were bright at The Lodge! songs and stories from The Great American Songbook featuring a special tribute to America’s favorite: Tony Benett.

Our Second Annual Cheeseburger in Paradise Party Tour Our Residents opened their home to our Annual “Cheeseburger and Paradise Tour,” where our Resident Ambassadors and Staff welcomed and toured 100 guests.

They were treated to a wonderful buffet from our Culinary Staff as well as music from DJ Mike. This has been the best marketing event we have had at The Lodge and are looking forward to building our census as quickly as possible
