Welcome to Our 2023-24 Season!

Dear Friends of SoNA,

We look forward to our 2023-24 Season with great anticipation! Some of our favorite things will be presented on our stage this season – from the most famous of classics, to bringing new music to life for the very first time.

The new season features everything from the most widely recognized pieces — including Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (Ode to Joy) and Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story — to music that is rarely performed, like William Dawson’s Negro Folk Symphony and Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 3

A first for SoNA will include performing music that has never been heard, as we are commissioning composer Aldo López-Gavilán to create a piano concerto for star pianist Lara Downes.

We will also perform concerts that speak to the season, including the audience favorite A Very SoNA Christmas with the SoNA Singers, as well as a seasonally spooky concert just before Halloween with Haunted Harmonies featuring guest conductor Lawrence Loh.

There’s truly something for every music lover this season, and we hope to see you this fall!
