Volume One’s summertime food experience, Food Truck Friday at Phoenix Park in Eau Claire, is basically a license to graze on amazing eats for eight hours while supporting local businesses. It’s a win-win situation for all! Burger Nights at Together Farms (W93 Norden Road, Mondovi) offers a relaxed environment to munch on some of the best burgers in town with some of the best people around. And at Pizza Night at Farm to Fork Retreat (S193 County Road BB, Mondovi), taste wood-fred pizzas made with local ingredients from May through September. Just narrowly missing third place was Chippewa Valley Technical College’s award-winning 620 West Culinary Pop-Up events, which snagged an honorable mention.
