Volkert has had a part in some of the most significant infrastructure projects in the United States throughout the 20th century, from designing the longest continuous bridge over water to planning much of the country’s interstate system.

In the 21st century, Volkert has accelerated its growth to become a nationally active, awardwinning professional services firm, broadening its focus to encompass both the natural and built environments. Now with over 1,300 employees in more than 60 offices, Volkert consistently ranks among the top 100 engineering firms in the nation.

That’s right. Volkert is completely employee owned through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). You have a personal stake in Volkert’s success so when the company does well, you do well.

Once you meet eligibility requirements, you will be awarded company stock. You do not purchase stock with your own money. And the longer you work at Volkert, the more shares you receive. It pays to stay at Volkert.
