The successful projects we have seen are underpinned by approaches that are inclusive, open and in tune with the needs and wants of the people they work with. Whether large or small, organisations must be able to establish and maintain working cultures and attitudes that tackle stigma, value social action and volunteering and provide an environment for genuine involvement work with people with lived experience.
