Air Force Tour

In May, our SOHO girls and mentors had the opportunity to visit Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. They learned about the Air Force, toured a plane, talked to crew members, and sat in the seat that many high ranking military officials have sat in, including the Vice President! This was the first plane many of our mentees had stepped foot on. A huge thank you to Sam, SOHO mentor andAir Force Staff Sergeant, for coordinating this event and ensuring each girl received anAir Force coin to commemorate the trip. It was an experience our girls and mentors will never forget!
