St Werburghs Community Food Share project, set up in response to the global pandemic, has supported over 70 families through this unprecedented time in history.

The community in and around St Werburghs has shown what can be achieved when we work together. Although some of the challenges facing these families has changed since Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, the issues are by no means solved. Bristol families are still experiencing the struggles of rising food and energy prices.

With the generous help of Burges Salmon, we are proud to be able to continue the food share project with the aim of tackling the root issues surrounding food insecurity. To support our Food Share Project, you can contribute to our GoFundMe campaign - all donations will help to secure the food parcels these families still very much need: www. gofund.me/90401615. Donations of non-perishable food items and bathroom/ kitchen essentials can be dropped off at St Werburghs Community Centre in the donation boxes provided. To find out more or if you’re interested in volunteering, contact reuben@stwerburghs.org.uk or visit www.facebook.com/BFCFoodshare.
