ABOUT THE EDITOR As the Founder, Editor-in-Chief, and Chief Photographer of VNB Magazine, Le Quan has created an alluring platform for all those captured and seduced by the beauty of the feminine form.
Eventually, when the magazine refused to continue his contract, he decided to launch his own empire, fusing all the things that he loves and does best.
The allure of VNB dresses its NYC headquarters with seemingly endless posters of covergirls, magazines, sketches, lights, and lingerie samples from its upcoming intimate collection. It’s a studio, an office, a design lab, a play house - it’s everything that Le has worked hard to create - the quintessential “American Dream” that has inspired generations of creative talents, including James Brown, whose song, “I don’t want nobody to give me nothing” plays proudly in the background.
“In Vietnam, everyone has his own business - regardless of the size or nature. I only know how to shoot, and I love women. I have to stay true to what I love, and if I’m left with one word, that’s belief.”
“I don’t want nobody To give me nothing
However challenging the fundraising efforts have been, for a relatively risqué subject to focus on, Le was convinced that there is a market for such a sophisticated men’s magazine that would provide a platform of opportunities for emerging talent and creative beings. In his own words, “Hey, I don’t sell beer, I don’t sell food, I sell lingerie, and I only do the stuff I love - the rest doesn’t matter. Because when it comes to sacrifice, it’s gotta be for something you love.” With the launch of VNB intimates - a seductive lingerie collection under his very own label, Le’s journey is only about to become more exciting. He’s one of those people who always seeks and manages to make the most out of any situation, but bad situations in particular. He’s a visionary who walks the walk, and never lets you down.
Open up the door I’ll get it myself We got talents we can use
“Every road has its turns, curves, drops, and highs, but it’s how you navigate them, and we’re going to keep going.”
On our side of town Let’s get our heads together And get it up from the ground” Le claims this song to be his anthem, as it depicts his journey of getting VNB off the ground, to its modern state. The beginning of any venture is not easy, but VNB in particular was, and remains to this day, a risk and a gamble. Prior to its inception, Le has held 16 different jobs that ranged from the food and service industry to construction, to administration, to translator, and then to graphic design under another magazine.

This show opened with the first viewing of sexy, stunning lingerie by VNB intimates. Models graced the stage with soft metallic embroidered lace bras, panties, and corsets. The delicate silk chiffon teddies, baby doll camisoles, lace panties, bras, sheer cover-ups and seamed hosiery had hints of classic movie star glamour. The Inspiring Life Story Of The
Richest Man In China
Jack Ma
Harvard was denied him, failed his college entrance exam twice, and investors say the e-commerce idea is crazy, founder of Alibaba persevered with his vision. Finally, the group’s largest e-commerce in China - Alibaba performed one of the largest IPO for superlative history of the US stock market. Analysts said that after the IPO, its value could reach $ 200 billion, nearly four times the market capitalization of weapons production giants - Lockheed Martin. Path from an English teacher to become technology tycoon Jack Ma began in 1995. The first time Internet users, he typed keyword search for “beer” and “China”. But all that Ma saw a lot of information on US and German beer beer, while China completely absent. Recognizing the opportunity, he also had a friend set up a website about Chinese translation service. After a few hours of work, he has received a lot of requests from all over the world. Meanwhile, Ma thinks that the Internet “will change the world and China.” WW W.V NBMAG AZINE .C OM
22
In 1999, he gathered 17 friends at his home. They were discussing the new company - a website connecting exporters with foreign buyers. Then, Alibaba born. The company has rapidly grown to become e-commerce firms dominate China today. Ma always proud of his white hand comes. When founded Alibaba, Jack Ma had no money, no technology knowledge and management style are also arbitrary. But Ma has a very attractive manner. The former head of Alibaba are comments he is very optimistic spirit communication to others. And language skills also help significantly Ma work. “He’s very funny, can tell jokes in both Chinese and English. Ma also adapt well before the audience and makes everyone in the room felt as if he was just talking to someone important”, Duncan Clark - a former counselor at Alibaba said on CNN.
Sources: 60 Minutes After then-US president Richard Nixon visited Hangzhou in 1972, Ma’s hometown became a tourist mecca. As a teenager, Ma started waking up early to visit the city’s main hotel, offering visitors tours of the city in exchange for English lessons. The nickname “Jack” was given to him by a tourist he befriended.
Ma also is known for always rely on senses. “He was interested in the enthusiasm of the staff rather than a resume. Look at the senior leadership of Alibaba we see many of them have never had business experience before,” Porter Erisman - former leader Alibaba said.
However, this strategy has been really successful. In 2005, Taobao has nearly 70% market share of online retail in China. That same year, Yahoo’s Alibaba is investing $ 1 billion for 40% stake. By 2006, eBay announced its withdrawal from the Chinese market.
The leadership of the company is the nickname comes from Chinese swordplay novels. Occasionally, the Jack Ma also inspired this strategy for their business.
Currently, Alibaba is a global company with 22,000 employees and 90 offices around the world. Two of its most popular sites - Taobao and Tmall contribute to 80% of sales online retail industry in China. Each day, the two sites have more than 100 million hits.
Ma always believed the Chinese company fully capable of fighting the international competitors. “The wisdom of the Chinese people equally as good. This is why we dare to confront corporate America. We can win the big names thanks to its spirit of innovation,” said Jack Ma meeting with the co-founders in 1999. This spirit has helped Alibaba defied eBay when it dominated the market C2C (consumer to consumer sale) of China in 2003. To gain market share, Jack Ma hosted a meeting at his apartment and prepare for the next big project. “eBay is a shark in the ocean, but we are crocodiles in the Yangtze River. If we fight in the ocean, we will lose. But if in the river, we will win,” he said. Soon after, the group has launched Taobao, which means “looking for treasure” in Chinese. This platform similar to eBay, but is designed more in line with the local market and does not charge users. “In the eyes of eBay, Jack Ma is like a fool. But from the perspective of an investor on Wall Street, Ma is the type who is willing to risk all to beat eBay. It scarier than an intelligent opponent is rivals desperately ready to throw in the whole amount without hope is profitable, “Erisman said.
Alibaba operates an electronic payment services, investment funds, trading cloud and some services for mobile phones. Alibaba also acquired companies in the fields of entertainment, sports, media and even a football team. CEO Jack Ma resigned as chairman in 2013 to focus the work of the charity. However, he is still the chief strategist in Alibaba and is the face of a public company. One of the event’s annual cult Alibaba is Alifest - a seminar on e-commerce, but many are held when the meeting is like a rock. Former US presidents - Bill Clinton and US basketball player - Kobe Bryant had been a guest of this event. “It convinced me Alifest joined Alibaba. I’ve never seen so many customers and staff happy to do,” David Wei - a leader Alibaba said. Ma also to perform some amount of entertainment in Alifest and making participants very excited. In last year’s event, he said: “I never ever thought I would be standing here today and Alibaba could reach its current position.” WWW. V N BMA G A Z INE.COM

STEVE JOB
from
10lessons Start-up
His view was to create a product very attractive and different, then told the market it is what they need. Steve Jobs founded Apple in 1976 in a dingy garage, with a modest amount of capital. So, the way he brought Apple into the company come up with the largest market capitalization in the world. The 10 lesson any success entrepreneur should learn from; 1. Success always comes with persistence
Steve Jobs’ success through perseverance in the face of a series of failures. He understood that this was part of the trip and it even helps him think of more ideas. You see how he came back and grown Apple become successful after being fired in 1985. Only months later, Steve was founded Pixar, NeXT and then. “I am convinced that almost half of the reason to make up the difference between successful people and people who do not is perseverance,” Steve said in a 1995 interview.

2. When promoted to CEO, become a great sale leader Steve Jobs has held key positions in business at Apple until the last minute. On YouTube, you can find lots of videos he lectured in front of an audience. The presentations are seemingly simple and spontaneous, but in reality, they have been carefully planned. In 23 years at Apple, Steve never dereliction of responsibility to promote sales for the company. 3. Create a market for the product Steve Jobs completely ignored theory “Serve the market what they need”. He does not believe in market research papers and said, “Consumers still do not know what they want until we create it”. Steve’s point is to create something compelling and distinctive as to be irresistible, and then telling the market that they need. For example, when people are satisfied with the MP3 player, Steve launched the iPod. Immediately, this device has raised the demand of the market to a new level.
4. Know innovative ideas available
8. Sell the simple
Not when Steve Jobs was at the forefront of product development. But he had the vision to know what congenital causes storm in the market. Lots of products of “Apples Disability” is not Steve’s idea, which is he picking up somewhere. His talent lies in being able to reshape those ideas and turn them into secondary market dominance. A typical example is the iPad. The forerunner of this device is GridPad, was created in 1989 and is one of a dozen tablets have not been able to do so about that time. Steve has studied this model and improving it to open up the market for tablet computers later.
All Apple products are all very easy to use, due to the complexity hate Steve Jobs. For him, simplicity is always a top priority. Ease of use and simple design to a minimum is the difference between Apple’s products and competitors.
5. Excellence in all stages
Steve said that in the world of complex technology, people prefer the simplicity and willing to pay a higher price for this. His marketing messages emphasize that. He let the world see life can be comfortable and easy to control if using his device. 9. All roads lead to Rome
Apple being established on the basis of excellence from production, supply chain, distribution channel to market advertising strategies. Steve once said: “Always a measure of quality. Because some people still are not familiar with the environment always requires excellence”.
Steve Jobs does not feel pressure before the market trend. He grabbed every opportunity and tried every method of marketing, from traditional to innovation, to promote products. Steve success for creating a coherent story about Apple and could tell it in all possible ways to attract customers.
6. Attention to detail
10. Build an empire throughout the financial
Steve Jobs, both design and functionality are important. He always require equipment viewed from the front or the back are beautiful to the eye. Interior design, too, because other engineers can see them when you remove the product out. Steve says he affected this from his father - who asked him to do the back fence and cabinets should also be noted, though nobody can see.
Steve Jobs is known for its strong hunting for the best employees. Once he have found the right man, he will himself be persuaded by. In one of the most famous recruiting by is Tim Cook - Apple’s successor as CEO after Steve retired.
7. Leadership style
Steve, of course, does not think he can do it all alone. And as a result he left Apple, he left a brilliant staff can continue to push the company forward.
Steve Jobs showed us the importance of this in convincing the market. Apple has never had such appeal under former CEO - John Scully. Ultimately, it was the return of Steve in 1997 to revive Apple. His subtle demeanor has shaped the brand “Apple Deficiency”, which the company has been revered by many fans. WWW. V N BMA G A Z INE.COM

VO VIET CHUNG Award-Winning Vietnamese Celebrity Designer’s Debut at Couture Fashion Week New York
by Dorothy NYC Vietnamese celebrity designer Vo Viet Chung presented his most recent inspired collection “Cochinchina’s Beauty” for Spring 2015 at Couture Fashion Week in New York. The fashion show was held at 6:00 pm on Saturday September 6, 2014 in the Broadway Ballroom of the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan, 1605 Broadway, in the heart of the Big Apple, the world’s fashion capital. The runway was graced with variations of the glamorous, elegant and sophisticated Vietnamese traditional dress (Ao Dai). Each garment was impeccably adorned with pearls crafted to perfection with keen attention to detail. His stunning creations combined costume characteristics from the north and south of Vietnam. Made with Lanh My A, a silk fabric produced in South Vietnam.

During Chung’s work to restore the southern traditional material, he discovered the mac nua seeds and used them to dye the Lanh My a silk. When using the mac nua seeds as dye, Chung noticed the material became shiny black and water-resistance. Thus he decided to manufacture the mac nua material for his creativity and newly revolutionized Vietnamese (Ao Dai) designs. With an eye for trends and a distinctive original style, Vo Viet Chung truly added a touch of glamour and life to his Ao Dai gowns. Vo Viet Chung has firmly established his name worldwide and operates two highly successful boutiques in Vietnam. Vietnam is a dynamic and vibrant modern culture. Chung’s Ao Dai designs have been known for its ability to be customarily tailored for any occasion.
Vo Viet Chung has showcased his designs on many television programs and at prestigious events around the world including Vietnam, Japan Cultural Week in Tokyo and the J Autumn Fashion Show in London. At Asian Fashion Week in 2011, he presented two collections under the theme “Asian Heritage Silk” made from traditional fabrics. During that event, the designer was recognized with a Guinness World Record for his stunning creation of an “Ao Dai” (traditional Vietnamese gown). The dress was made of 1,000 meters (over 3,200 feet) of fabric, including traditional silk from villages across the Vietnam. The tunic had nine trains, each 100 meters (over 300 feet) in length, symbolizing the nine branches of the Cuu Long River Delta (The Mekong River Delta). It was decorated with gold and more than 2,000 diamonds. The costume also included a turban known as a “Vietnamese crown”, made from 0.5 kg (over 1 pound) of gold and encrusted with 2,000 diamonds. In 2013, the Vietnam Environment Protection Fund appointed Vo Viet Chung as director of the “Blue Ocean World” project. He is also the founder of Vietnam’s Miss Ocean Beauty contest. WWW.
