Summer is here and we're munching on strawberries till they're coming out of our ears, while relaxing in the garden!

We're getting organised to take our social lives outdoors so we can enjoy spending time with family & friends in the sun...

These wonderful recipes will keep you bite free, pollen free, hungry free and thirst free! What more could you ask for this summer?!

This blend will help ground you while reducing any anxious feelings. It's also great for purifying your space too, especially after all your guests leave your garden party, after the event.

Strawberry Sangria

Method

1 Lemon sliced 2 cups Fresh Strawberries sliced 1 pint Fresh Raspberries 2 drops Lemon 4 drops Wild Orange

1. Fill a large glass pitcher with the wine, simple syrup and oils, mix well.

2. Add the berries to the mixture and place in the fridge for 30 minutes or until you're about to serve.

3. Just before serving add ice, soda water and the pink lemonade, stir gently.

4. Serve in a tall glass with a slice of lemon.

If you're gathering in the garden with a group this is the perfect refreshing drink but keep in mind, it will be consumed fairly quickly... so make sure you have back up batches ready! It's light and fruity with a subtle kick, especially after a few glasses!

1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc 4 oz Cointreau 4 oz Vodka 750mls Soda Water 500mls Pink Lemonade ½ cup Simple Syrup

Strawberry Bruschetta 1 lb Strawberries, finely diced 1 teaspoon granulated sugar 3 tablespoons Butter (melted) 8 oz Cream Cheese Spread 4 tablespoons Mascarpone Cheese 6 tablespoons Light Brown Sugar ½ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon ⅛ teaspoon Salt 1 loaf Baguette Bread, cut inch ¼ inch slices 1 ½ tablespoon Mint, finely chopped ⅓ cup Honey ¼ cup Powdered Sugar 3 drops Lemon

Ingredients

1. Mix 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.

2. Dip one side of the bread into the belted butter.

3. Top the bread generously with the sugar/cinnamon mixture and brush off excess.

4. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes at 180 degrees celsius 5. Mix the cream cheese, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, salt and the remainder of the cinnamon until it's light and fluffy.

6. Spread a thick layer across each slice.

7. Mix the strawberries, sugar and Lemon oil.

8. Add the strawberry mix on top of the bruschetta.

Strawberries remind us of Wimbledon, garden parties and generally of summer fun. Get fruity this summer with our Strawberry Bruschetta, as it's the perfect sweet twist on the Italian recipe. Your guests will be amazed at your creativity and their taste buds tantalised!

Glazed Strawberry Scones 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Powder ¼ teaspoon Baking Soda ½ teaspoon Salt ⅓ cup Sugar 8 tablespoons Unsalted Frozen Butter ½ cup plain Yoghurt 1 heaped cup of diced fresh strawberries 1 large Egg For the Glaze 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted 1 cup Icing Sugar 2 drops Lemon Oil

Method

Ingredients

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius. Line your baking tray with greaseproof paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the dry ingredients.

3. Grate the butter into the flour and use your fingers to work in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Gently mix in the diced strawberries.

4. In a small bowl, whisk the yoghurt and egg until smooth. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, gently stir the yoghurt mixture into the flour mixture until large dough clumps form, try not to squish the strawberries. Use your hands to press the dough against the bowl into a ball. The dough will be crumbly at first, but as you press, the dough will come together. If your dough is too dry, add up to 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 teaspoon at a time until the dough comes together.

5. Place the ball on a lightly floured surface and pat into a 7 inch circle about ¾ inch thick. Use a sharp knife to cut it into 8 triangles and place onto the prepared baking tray about 1 inch apart.

6. Bake until golden for about 15 minutes then cool for 10 minutes while you prepare the glaze.

7. In a medium bowl, prepare the glaze by mixing together all the glaze ingredients. Whisk until smooth.

8. Drizzle over the warm scones and enjoy!

Glazed Strawberry Scones Although no English Garden Party would be complete without scones and clotted cream, we made these a strawberry version so they'll be perfect for your Wimbledon themed party or just to celebrate the fact it's summer and the sun is shining.

These scones will literally melt in your mouth!

Cucumber Salad

Method

2 English Cucumbers or 4 Smaller Cucumbers 2 Garlic Cloves Juice of ½ Lemon 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 cup Plain Yoghurt Salt & Pepper to taste 1 drop Dill

1. Wash and partially peel the cucumbers in a striped pattern, cut into slices approximately ¼ inch thick and place in a medium sized mixing bowl.

2. Add the Dill to the yoghurt and mix well.

3. Add all the other ingredients and the yoghurt mix to the bowl with cucumbers and stir.

4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5. Serve immediately.

Experience As many know well, cucumber sandwiches are traditional for an English tea party, however we're mixing things up a bit for our English garden party by adding our cucumber salad. This creamy salad is fresh and crunchy with just the right amount of zing, where the dill complements the lemon perfectly, which by the way goes great with a glass of Pimm’s!

Pimm’s Garden Cup 8 oz Pimm’s No. 1 24 oz Fizzy Lemonade 4 drops Wild Orange Sliced Orange, Strawberries, Lemon, Cucumber and Fresh Mint Leaves

Method

1. Fill a large glass pitcher with the sliced fruit, this should fill about ¼ of the jug, top up with ice.

2. Add all the wet ingredients and stir gently.

3. Serve in tall glasses making sure to add some of the fruit with each serving.

It’s Pimm’s O’clock, and let's face it, any time is good for Pimm’s.

This is the traditional garden party drink & this Experience Kit wouldn't be complete without our oily version, so raise your glass and say cheers to the arrival of summer!

Lemon Pasta Salad with Green Beans & Arugula 8 oz Spiral Pasta 8 oz Green Beans 1 Lemon 2 tablespoons Olive Oil 2 tablespoons Parmesan 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard 1 splash Worcestershire Sauce

1 clove Garlic Salt Pepper 2 cups Rocket / Arugula Feta Cheese 6 drops Lemon

Method

1. Cook the pasta according to package directions, adding green beans during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and run under cold water to cool.

2. In a large bowl, squeeze 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 6 drops of Lemon oil.

Whisk in olive oil, parmesan, mustard, Worcestershire, garlic and ¼ teaspoon of both salt and pepper.

3. Add pasta and green beans and toss to coat.

4. Fold in arugula and as much feta as desired.

Experience

This salad is perfect for garden parties as it's served cold. It combines the sweetness of green beans with the creamy saltiness of feta and is balanced by hearty pasta and peppery arugula!

Pollen Potion

Method

Mix all ingredients together in a glass jar and store in the fridge.

8 Is your hayfever making your summer miserable?

We have just the solution!

Dissolve a teaspoon of this potion in your mouth and swallow or add to a cup of tea or hot water and enjoy your garden party without being tortured by the pollen.

This can be taken daily for the summer or until the excess pollen subsides.

Bye Bye Bug Spray

Method

1. Combine the oils and the witch hazel in a 6oz glass spray bottle.

2. Top up the bottle with distilled water.

3. Shake well and spray from head to toe.

Mosquitoes? Ants? Ticks?

Use this spray to scare all these nippy wee critters away. Enjoy your bite free summer, lying on the grass & gazing up at the clouds without worrying about what's having a picnic on you while you relax!

Bug Bite Balm ¼ cup Coconut Oil ¼ cup Safflower Oil ¼ Cup Beeswax 2-3 drops Raspberry Seed Oil 8 drops Tea Tree 8 drops Clove 8 drops Rosemary 8 drops Lavender 8 drops Lemon

Method

Ingredients

1. In a medium glass microwave safe bowl, add the coconut oil and heat for 30 seconds.

2. Add the beeswax to the bowl and return to the microwave for another 30 seconds. Stir and continue to melt at 30 second intervals until the mixture is liquid.

3. Add safflower and raspberry seed oil to the bowl.

4. Add the essential oils to the bowl and mix together thoroughly.

5. Add the mixture to a small metal tin or a small glass jar with airtight lids.

6. Place in the fridge to solidify.
