As we prepare to celebrate our 100th anniversary on May 18, 2027, this year's edition of our annual book serves as both a reflection on our journey and a preview of the remarkable milestone ahead. For nearly a century, this corner of Arlington and Newbury Streets has welcomed generations of travelers, Bostonians, and celebrated guests. While our city continues to evolve, what has always defined this address is not simply its history or architecture, but the people who bring it to life each day through genuine hospitality and heartfelt service. This year, we are especially proud to introduce the inaugural Norman Pashoian Quarter Century Club, honoring associates whose dedication to The Newbury spans twenty-five years or more. Named for Norman Pashoian, whose gracious welcome became synonymous with arriving at this iconic hotel for more than six decades, the club recognizes individuals whose careers have become woven into the fabric of our story. Their combined service represents centuries of commitment, reminding us that while buildings create a destination, people create a sense of belonging.
