Personal s tatement

Like one of the Coco Chanel’s quotes “Don’t spend time beating on a wall, hoping to transform it into a door.” I decided to move on and create my own door, after years of trying and walking around a room full of doors that were not enough for what I was looking for.

One of my early memories is asking my mom to design and sew clothes for my Barbies. I really enjoyed being part of the process so that became our little precious moment every week. However, my love for the fashion world stuck in my childhood and when I was 18 years old I had to move to Palma de Mallorca, Spain to continue with my studies and to fnally see my father after years of being apart.

My life changed and so my mind, it was a new country, full of things to do, and so I did. I studied Tourism, did some Hospitality management courses, worked in hotels, restaurants, catering, etc.

In 2014, I started to work at the Hard Rock café. It defnitely has been an important phase in my life and also changed my personality positively. I was not the introvert and shy Carolina any more since I had to be in continued contact with clients. It was after a couple of years of working there, that the little creative and fashion lover girl who got hid during this whole time, started to fnd her way out of her comfort zone and realized that it was time to start studying and doing what I really loved.

So there is when the real trip of my life began, I started to study fashion design in 2018 and since then I can’t be more proud and happy of what I got to learn and do. It’s been a fascinating journey that got the most creative part of me and taught to me that its never too late to study or do whatever and wherever it is to fulfll your soul.

It’s not going to be an easy way, but defnitely it’s going to be a nice bumpy road and during the ride I promise myself to learn the most that I can and overall to give the best of me. So when after a couple of years when I’ll look back I can be proud of everything I have accomplished.
